About me
Design and esthetic is part of my life since I remember myself
Creative thinker, curious, and passionate to study new aspects of design
Professional Background
Over the years I’ve worked with product and R&D teams in various companies, as a team member and as independent consultant in diverse products, discovering, building, and improving the user experience.
Sensing the need for data and info openness to users, I've taken two “D” tours from design.
I’ve studied Information Sciences in Bar-Ilan University, followed by working as a information researcher.
Sharing my insight and love for graphics, I’ve gave lectures about Infographics and Data-Visualization at professional conferences promoting ways of presenting information and big data.
These two tours , highlighted the benefits of information studies methodologies with UX design.
My Working Process
Strategy for shaping the goal of the project
Research as the key to create an informed user experience
Analysis to get insights from data collected during the research
Design by putting ideas in the front of the users for feedback refine and repeat
Production for collaborating with UI designers and developers

Case Study – URBN|X
PROJECT URBN|X a geo-location mobile application and website for street art consuming preservation DELIVERABLES Wireframes for mobile app and website PROCESS
STRATEGY: Interviewing the main stakeholder to understand goals , wishes and business models.
RESEARCH
Performing a review of competing websites and apps, downloading, signing up and use competing products .
Conducting observation on target users, on the location they might use the app.
Creating personas to reflect user groups for who I designed.
ANALYSIS Insights from web research and users observation Creating storyboards , users flow and sketches
DESIGN Establish wireframes to show users the solution and to get their feedback.

URBN|X Research - Users Observation and Personas
Users observation on Street Art guided tour. Interviewing some of the participates of the tour

URBN|X Analysis – Insights, Sketches and Sticky Notes
INSIGHTS
Some insights that were collected from the search:
Street artist perform in public locations
The art comes in layers
What you see now will disappear tomorrow
Many art pieces on one wall
People love and know about street art
Many genres – stencil, stickers, spray, graffiti
Artists love to share their art around the world
Turning users insights into sketches

Case Study – MeCasa
PROJECT MeCasa – A new way to purchase property (POC stage) DELIVERABLES Wireframes for mobile app CHALLENGES Buying a house can be very stressful and emotional
Buying a home is a complex process which is divided into many different stages
Decision-making processes and involvement of a number of factors
Information overload
SOLUTION
Since this project is still on POC stage, I used web study to begin with. During the study, I realized how people purchase real estate for the first time (in the US), what were their motivations, considerations and how many houses they usually see.
Designing engaging on-boarding process with progress bar along the way
Combining visual elements for decision making
Designing friendly and relaxing pop-ups with tips and instructions
Using crowd sourcing methodology

MeCasa Research – Web Study And Insights
WEB STUDY
Since the users are from USA, the main research was web study.
Here are some of the questions that were asked:
who buys real estate for the first time?
who decide what to purchase?
What are the main concern when buying a property?
How women buy houses? How men buy houses?
How many properties are seen before decision?
What is the legal procedure when buying a house?
INSIGHTS
Some insights from the web study:
From published statistics; women are the main users
From research I understand how women buy houses and
what they want to know first
There are some known obstacles to consider for the UX
A study how to design the on-boarding process

Case Study – Enure Networks
PROJECT Enure networks- Home network management and self-healing software (2007) CHALLENGES Make consumer home network, easy to use and fun
View and maintain home network locally and by remote
Install home network and connect devices
Fix network failures automatically and manually
Reduce the cost of customer support when installing new network at home/SOHO
SOLUTION: Using explanatory wizards
Using visual element to show the users how to install and how fix failures (including animations)
Using infographic maps with color codes, like on network map
FAILURES Not doing proper research and users testing
Using too complicated text that didn’t match the users skills
Changing technology
ABOUT ENURE
Enure Networks, Ltd. provided home-network management and self healing software solutions.
It offered solutions for the installation and maintenance of home/SOHO networked services.
The company also provided True Information & Control server to handle upstream and downstream data and action-related information from and into the home.

Case Study – CSI
PROJECT
CSI APP is a tool for helping the investigator on crime scenes
DELIVERABLES
Wireframes for mobile app
PROCESS
This is a mobile project from the UXV Certification Program.
STRATEGY: All goals and motivations were described
RESEARCH: Performing a research to understand what are the investigator roles, what happen at the crime scene and what kind of evidence the investigator collects. Interviewing a forensic medicine doctor
ANALYSIS Insights from web research and users observation Creating users flow and sketches
DESIGN Establish wireframes to show the solution
Yael Shertzer- Glaser
CSI Research – Web Study And Insights
WEB STUDY
The main key to succeed in crime investigation is taking
care of evidences
The crime sense includes all locations with the
evidences
The first hours are critical
Time, date and location are necessary
Scene investigation involves gathering of evidence
therefore, the first step at the scene of a crime will be
commemoration through photography.
The investigator doesn't have the time to type text
INSIGHTS
The product should be fast and intuitive
Should relay on technology
Reduce the use of typing and increase the use of sound and
vision
All setting and connections should be set before getting to the
scene of crime, like GPS details, photo albums and emails to the
investigation labs
