That means you must

snow, rain, heat,
snoozing the alarm and
even on the cold dark
mornings!
AMAZING!
Let me know if this is
your second year with

Best of luck to everyone

Year 6 Prom 2019. A few from
the PTA!
Earlier, this week I was handed this poem by
Ella (Year 5) that shows the dangers and the
worry of deforestation:
Small Tree
A seed,
Dropped on the ground like useless litter,
Autumn rain falls,
Then the sun comes up again.
Small tree made friends with the animals,
Day by day they would play.
Until one day…
The animals fled,
Small tree hears a strange noise.
One he had not heard before
When suddenly he saw a huge machine,
Millions of people behind it,
He couldn't believe what he has seen,
One tree fell,
Then two,
Then three,
Then small tree.
Deforestation is deadly can’t you see?
It hurt small tree, and one day might hurt you
or me…
Excellent job Ella!

Parent and child safety
Please be aware of your parking behaviours while in the local community. You have a
responsibility to keep EVERY child safe at Hillsgrove. This includes when they are
coming and going from school. Where infringements have been noticed, Bexley
Council will always be notified. Thank you to all parents that drive and park safely
around our school, keeping our pupils safe.
Reception trip to Lesnes Abbey
The children had a wonderful time and behaved
impeccably. Here is just a small taste of
their day...
