School is the place to beThe leaving age for school is now 17 with students
encouraged to complete year 12. A student may leave earlier to move into a full time apprenticeship/traineeship

Moving from year 10 into year 11Key decisions to make
1. What pathway am I going to take ?2. What subjects should I select ?3. Will I do a VCE program or VCAL ? 4. Will I do a VET program ?5. Will I do a School Based Apprenticeship?6. Will I do a year 12 subject as part of my Year 11 program ?
What pathway/s am I suited to?
• University • TAFE• Apprenticeship/Traineeship• Full time employment
What subjects should I do?
