INVESTIGATING VOLUME

• Given a 15x15 square • Cut 1x1, 2x2, 3x3 etc to investigate which box gave the largest

volume

SPY MATHS

• Solve various maths activities o find out who the murderer was

• Pascals triangle, Venn diagrams, ratio, nets of 3D shapes and probability.

INVESTIGATING MEASURE

• Measure plane using metre sticks• Think about wing span, nose length etc.

SCRATCH

• Used positional language and measuring angles to navigate a car round a race track.

3D SHAPES

• Investigated nets of 3D shapes• Face, vertices, edges• Structural competition to see who could build the biggest tower.

BUILDING 3D SHAPES

• Used spaghetti and jelly babies to build 3D shapes and a model of Hopwood.
