Mr. Henkin is President and Founder of WTS International, one

of the world’s largest and fastest growing leisure advisory and

operating firms providing services to hotels, resorts, luxury

residential properties, exclusive golf and country clubs, day

spas and real estate developments throughout the United States

and overseas. Mr. Henkin has over three decades of experience

in the planning, design and management of health clubs, spas

and athletic facilities of all types. He has also coordinated and

developed numerous feasibility and needs assessment studies for

prospective spa and health club properties.

As WTS International‘s Chief Operating Officer, Alfredo brings

over 20 years of experience in domestic, international hotel and

spa operations, brand development, sales and marketing and

strategic planning. From cruise ship launchings to luxury hotel

and spa openings at multiple locations worldwide, Alfredo has

extensive experience in international management, global best

practices and creative strategic positioning in working with

some of the world’s most recognized hospitality and wellness

brands. Previously, he held management and executive positions

with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, The Walt Disney Company,

Ritz–Carlton Hotels and Canyon Ranch Health Resorts.

Susie Hammer manages the WTS Spa Division ensuring

ongoing support for field staff and clients. Susie oversees

the pre-opening process, produces spa standards, manages

the WTS Preferred Vendor Program, revenue generation

classes, spa feasibility studies and operational audits.

Susie started as a marketing intern with WTS in 1996. After

receiving her Marketing and International Business degree,

Susie began working as a WTS Fitness Director within the

Hilton Corporation, while pursuing a master’s degree in Health

Fitness Management. In 2000, Susie become the WTS Fitness

and Spa Director for the Westin Resort St. John and then went

on to become the Spa Director at the Sanderling Spa in North

Carolina. Susie quickly became a Regional Account Executive

for WTS and easily made the transition to WTS’ Director of

Spa Operations.

With more than 20 years experience in cosmetics and luxury

spa Industries, Tracey offers in-depth expertise in business

development and operations strategy for the international

spa and fitness industries. Tracey provided strategic

leadership in the concept and business development of Spa

Chakra’s worldwide network of luxury spas holding various

senior positions. Tracey possesses an additional 10 years

experience in sales development and marketing for L’Oreal

cosmetics, majored in International Relations, attending the

University of Puget Sound and L’Institut d’Etudes Politiques

and is fluent in French and English.

A twenty year career spent in the world of five star hospitality,

including brands such as Ritz-Carlton and Orient Express, Jodie

has a diverse background covering Rooms Division and Finance,

after completing a Corporate Traineeship at The Sebel Townhouse.

Jodie realised the need for Spa Professionals, who could combine

the knowledge of therapies, without losing sight of the business

objectives, and so having already learned the business mechanics

of the hospitality industry, she enrolled for a Beauty Therapist

programme, and set about making inroads into the Spa Business.

Jodie has held both Group and Regional positions covering the

Middle East and Africa, and now her career extends into the Asia

Pacific.

Ann has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry,

primarily in management positions, service, revenue generation

and human resources, both in the United States and China.

Ann facilitated the openings and consultations of luxury spas

in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong and was

the National Manager for a full service luxury spa company

representing Guerlain Paris. She has also been instrumental in

design consultancy work across China, working with hotel flags

including Wyndham Worldwide, Regent Hotels and Resorts, Hilton

Worldwide, along with luxury boutique operators. She is fluent in

English and Chinese, holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and

Finance and is a candidate for an MBA in Accounting.

Mary-Lynn serves as the lead design associate for key accounts

with the WTS spa, fitness and recreation portfolio. Mary-Lynn

brings a wealth of knowledge within the field of hospitality

design. She comes to WTS from the H. Chambers Company in

Baltimore, MD where she was the Senior Interior Designer for

private country clubs. Additionally, Mary-Lynn’s background

extends into the health and wellness field, having worked with

several high-end Senior Living facilities throughout the country

to include Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing

units and Dementia Care. Mary-Lynn is a professionally licensed

interior designer, after passing the profession’s benchmark NCIDQ

exam for professional qualification, as well as LEED (Leadership in

Energy and Environmental Design) accredited.

As a member of the design team at WTS, Andrea works directly

with architecture and interior design firms, along with other

members of the design team, to provide WTS clients with well-

integrated planning and design development services. Andrea

assists in all phases of the design process, including consultation,

concept development, programming, schematic design, spa and

fitness equipment selections, design development, and graphic

presentation. Andrea received her BS in Interior Design from

Virginia Tech’s College of Architecture + Urban Studies and gained

experience in senior living, corporate, and healthcare design before

coming to WTS.
