*All activities are available for download at workman.com/blog/boyntoneventkit.
ACTIVITY #1
Flying Pig Puppet
H Download* the Flying Pig Puppet template and print it out on regular-weight paper.
H Help the kids color and cut out both of the Flying Pig images.
H Place one pig image on a flat surface with the blank side facing up.
H Place the straw in the middle of the belly so that about half an inch of straw overlaps the white paper. Glue or tape the straw to the paper.
H Place tape or glue around the edges of the pig and place the second pig on top, colored side out.
H Now fly! (We suggest a puppet show while you play “When Pigs Fly” from the CD.)
ACTIVITY #2
Design Your Own Gigantic Marshal’s Badge
H Download* the FROG TROUBLE marshal badge pattern sheet and print it out on card stock (or other heavier-weight paper).
H Cut out the badge.
H Help kids personalize their badges by coloring them in and writing their names or initials in the blank space.
H After the kids have finished creating their badges, stick to clothing with double-sided tape.
*All activities are available for download at workman.com/blog/boyntoneventkit.
ACTIVITY #4
“Alligator Stroll” Sing-and-Dance-Along
H Download* the sheet music for the “Alligator Stroll” song. (The CD is available in FROG TROUBLE.)
H Gather the children into lines for the Alligator Stroll and hand out sunglasses. Use your box guitars to play along with the music! Encourage clapping when prompted! The dance itself is easy as long as the children watch the leader.
ACTIVITY #3
Create Your Own instruments
Box Guitar
H Have an adult cut an oval-shaped hole in the top of the shoe box.
H Stretch a few rubber bands lengthwise around the box and over the hole.
H Put a pencil under the rubber bands near one end of the box lid.
H Tape a paper towel tube to the other end of the shoe box.
H Decorate the guitar any way you choose. Use paint, markers, stickers, etc.
H You are ready to play!
Paper plate tambourine
H Start by coloring or painting a paper plate and letting it dry.
H Fold the plate in half to find the center. Make a crease that you can see and unfold.
H Place the plate on a work surface. Cut streamers or tissue paper into thin strips about 4 to 5 inches long.
H Glue the strips to the undecorated rim of one half of the plate, in alternating colors. Leave most of the strips hanging down. The glued end of the strips will be on the inside of the plate once it’s folded.
H Refold the plate and place a handful of beans or beads inside. Glue or staple the plate closed.
H Decorate the outside of the plate with craft jewels or stickers.
*All activities are available for download at workman.com/blog/boyntoneventkit.

ACTIVITY #6
Coloring Pages
H Download* various FROG TROUBLE coloring sheets.
H All you need are crayons, colored pencils, or markers!
ACTIVITY #5
Make An origami Frog Puppet
H Download the template or use green construction paper or origami paper.
H To make a square from a rectangular piece of paper, fold one corner to its diagonal opposite. Cut off the extra paper. Your square is now a triangle. If you're using the template, fold one corner to its diagonal opposite (no cutting required!).
H Fold the two opposite ends of the triangle together. Now you have a smaller triangle.
H Open your paper back up so it’s a square again. Then fold each corner to the center. It’s now a smaller square.
H Turn your square over. Then fold each new corner to the center. Now you have a small thick square.
H Fold the square in half. Now unfold it and fold it the other way. Now unfold it.
H Put your fingers inside the four corners to make a diamond shape.
H Using double-sided tape, attach the two top sections together. Then attach the bottom pair together. You can now move both parts, like opening a mouth.
H Color black pupils on big white stickers. Frog eyes! Place them in the top two triangles. Then fold the two top corners backward. And there you have it—a frog!

I hold my head up high. I keep m
y feet on the ground. I never hurry, never w
orry, as I’m
strolling around. I can keep a certain tempo
that is lazy and sweet. A
nd I don’t need shoes ’cause I’ve got alligator feet. Take a little bit of Country and som
e slow Rock-and-Roll, and
what you’ve got going is the A
lligator Stroll.
I don’t want to fight. I don’t w
ant to bite. I use m
y 75 teeth for a smile so bright. You can
recognize me by m
y rose-colored shades as I m
ake my strolling w
ay through the Everglades. I’m
strolling. Still strolling. Yeah. Oh w
hoa, bless m
y soul, what w
e’ve got going is the Alligator
Stroll.
Left. Right. Left. Right.
I got a letter from m
y cousins in the Great
Dism

p. They said they w
ant to teach m
e their Alligator Stom
p. So I’m strolling
that direction in the way that I do. I hope to
reach the Carolinas by the time I’m
82. If you like a little Country and som
e slow Rock-and-
Roll, you can follow right behind m
e with the
Alligator Stroll.
Put on your shades. Looks good. Follow m
e.
We’re going: Left. R
ight. Left. R
ight. Give a
Hollyw

stroll to the left. Back. Forth. N
ow w
e’re strolling to the right. Step South. Step N
orth. Now
we’re
strolling straight ahead in an alligator row. A
nd every now
and then we do a little do-si-do. H
ey, rock. Roll. Rock. Roll all the w

I’m in no hurry…
Stroll.
See you later. Alligator.
