Notes: Picture1 is showing the control room at the second floor from outside the building. : Picture2 is showing the available space for installing Harris Radios which is 3mx1m. : Picture3 the desk contains 3 radios to communicate with the ships and other stations.

Notes: Picture1: is showing the building from the back which is an open space and we can use it to install the NVIS HF Antenna. Cable lengths of 30m will reach to the room with pushing the Antenna 13m away from the building. Picture2, 3: are showing the antennas hanging on the wall using Iron mast. Obviously we can’t use the roof because it’s made off Zinc. Therefore, For Harris Multiband Antenna, we can make a long Iron mast and insert the Multiband antenna after hang it on the wall in a position that doesn’t make interference with the others.

Conclusion

The CG is conquering the last floor of the Fish resource department building in Aden, and they’re using it as their main C2 which contains all of their servers. (Space is available). The challenge of this building is that the mountain is covering it up from the East side and I think will block the signal from travelling to the other side of Aden. Please Advise.

Conclusion

The construction of the New YCG HQ building in ADEN started on 2006-7 and hasn’t accomplished yet. For the delay reasons and so on, YCG decided to furnish the room at the right corner of picture 2&3 and install their radios to communicate with their ships and other stations. The YCG said that this control room is temporary and they’re going to move into another room once the building is accomplished. FYI, all equipment of site2 will be moved into the new building once it’s ready.

Finally, YCG has selected Site 1 and 2 for Harris Radio Installations to take place and site3 is optional since site2 is behind a mountain and the signal might be blocked.

Conclusion:

The YCG Ras-Emran center doesn’t have a building and the whole center consists of containers. The container size is 2x12m and half of it has been allocated for Harris radios. Furthermore, the center is covered by hills and the Multiband signals might not travel all the way to Aden or other stations, which most of the signal might be blocked.

Finally, Harris Radios might not get supplied by the generator, because of Oil shortage and supply for YCG centers.

Conclusion:

Note: YCG Khor O’Meira center is without main power, because power source hasn’t entered this town yet. For that, the center is using 80k generator for emergencies only and it happens that they don’t run it for days sometimes.

As a result, Harris radios will be provided with NO Main Power/Backup power in YCG- KHOR OMEIRA Center.

Conclusion:

All YCG buildings located at the coast line have been constructed recently for the VTS project. The target of this project is to transfer recorded data from the Radar back to Aden/Sana’a. However, the project hasn’t succeed yet and the whole system is off since a year ago and they don’t run the generator if the main power goes down. Therefore, the difficulties for supplying Oil/Diesel to the coast line of YCG centers, it ends up not running the backup power regularly in these areas.

For that, Harris radios MIGHT NOT be provided with backup power in YCG- MAKHA Center.

Conclusion:

Note: There is no power source in Khawkha center. Ycg is using solar power to run their system only, and they use the generator as a backup power for emergency only. Not like Khor O’Meira, which the 80k generator was planned to be run for couple of hours daily in order to transfer the data of the scanned areas and then they shut it down again.

As a result, Harris radios will be provided with no power in Al-Khawkha Center.

Note: There’re HF/VHF antennas installed at the top roof (Table1, Picture2). Accordingly, to prevent interference we’ll install Harris antennas at the below terrace/roof (Picture3).

For that, Harris radios will be provided with NO backup power in YCG- Alsalif Center.

Conclusion:

There’s no power source in Nishtun town, the center is hocked up from the Port that supplies them with electricity from 5pm to 5am daily. Apart from that, the center is running 2k generator during the morning emergencies.

Very Important Note:

The centers/sites which declared that they have manual backup power as (Generator), they all claimed that they’re in shortage of Oil/Diesel supplies by the CG and they might not run backup power regularly.
