What is HEI?– Implemented Winter 1998 by the Ohio Board of Regents
– Comprehensive web-based relational data warehouse for student demographics, course information, facilities, faculty, finance, financial aid and academic programs
– Designed to calculate state subsidy for AND track enrollments between our 38 state supported post secondary institutions. $2 Billion distributed annually.
– Over 580,000 students enrolled in 108,000 courses taught by 50,000 faculty.
– Limitations• Detailed enrollment data on public institutions only• SSN tracking
