Synopsis: Jesus concludes his thoughts on exceeding the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees by changing our perspective and understanding. Our righteousness must rise to the standard of God’s perfection. Perfection, in this context, is not sinlessness, but maturity. Our God wants our character to be mature like His Character.
