• Establishing routines at the start of the day: Blue homework diary handed in Home reading book changed and handed in or

put in your drawer Number bond / times table card handed in On appropriate days, spelling book or

A Weekly Timetable• PE ~ Thursday am and one afternoon per

week

• Homework ~ due in each Monday and new homework given out each Tuesday

• Reading ~ heard at least once per week

• Number bonds / times tables ~ tested weekly.

• Spellings ~ tested on a Tuesday and new spellings given out on a Wednesday

P.E• Ensure all kit is named and in school

• Navy tracksuits are encouraged as the weather gets colder

• Hair should be tied back and tape placed over earrings

• Spare socks should be kept in P.E bags

• A coloured t-shirt to match your house

Blue Homework Diaries

• Use them to communicate with the teacher

• We will use them to communicate with you

• Please return them to school on a daily basis

• Make sure your child is aware of any notes, so they remember to hand it to the teacher

• Please sign every week

• Reinforces the work completed in school or prepares for future learning

• Encourage your child to work independently, but be available for support

• Important for reading and writing .

• Spellings will link to the phonemes they are learning that week.
