The Virtual Light Table VLT provides the photographer with the essen-tial working space to organize, manage, and process digital images. In one place, the photographer can view all images in thumbnail, search for images, create image archives, attach comments to the images, generate a contact sheet of the complete work space, and print single images at high resolution. For each image, the photo-grapher can also retrieve critical EXIF information from his digital image fi les. A special feature of the Virtual Light Table is its unique „loupe“ function. To get a complete impression of a given image, the user can increase the image size in the overview or the album window. In this mode, the mouse pointer acts as a virtual loupe and shows the desired image area at full resolution. The user can utilize this control to evaluate the sharpness and details within the image. With SilverFastDCVLT, the user can access the complete palette of professional correction functions found in SilverFastAi. The new se-lective colour correction enables the user to accomplish complex colour changes over several levels and masks. Of course the proven SilverFast JobManager is at the users disposal to effi ciently process several images at one time.
