How much does it cost?As a member of Take Charge! Live Well!, you get allof this at no cost to you. The program is part of youremployee benefits, so there is no reason not to try it.

Is my information protected?Yes. You’ll use a username and password to access thesite. Plus, the information you record in the FinancialWell-Being site is as secure as any banking site.

How do I earn rewards*?Earn $50 for each online lesson you complete. Previously completed lessons are not eligible for rewards. The maximum reward you can receive for Financial Well-Being and other well-being improvement activities you participate in is $200. For more information about rewards, visit ohio.gov/tclw and select Program Guide under About Take Charge! Live Well!

*Reward cards are considered taxable compensation. The taxes on the amount

of your incentive will be deducted from your paycheck.

What kind of detail does it go into?You’ll find answers to questions like:

• How much should I keep in an emergency fund?

• How do I get out of debt?

• How can I teach my children good money habits?

• What’s the best way to finance a house? A car?

• What kind of insurance should I have?

• How much retirement savings do I need?

How long does it take to finish?The program is self-guided, so you can go at your ownpace. Most people complete the course in about12 weeks. Because each lesson builds on the next, it isbest go in order. After you complete the introduction,you have access to all the topics.
