You’re out of you’re mind! And we didn’t like that letter you wrote.
You didn’t come when you said you would
We like other teachers better than you
I wrote out of great sorrowIt was meant to be for your own good
Your faith in Christ is all that mattersDon’t let yourselves be led astray!
Christians in Corinth: Paul:
‘Be reconciled to God’• Pointless just pursuing reconciliation
with other people if you are not right with God first
• If you are right with God (and only he and you know that), then seek peace with all, especially other believers
• Christ’s love compels us to do so– There will be disagreements–We will sometimes hurt each other– Because we are human
So then we need humility...
I can boast of my faith and hardshipsI’ve done more than your other so-called apostles!
Ouch!Three times I’ve prayed to be healed of this!
My grace is sufficient for you
My power is made perfect in weakness
Paul:
God:
And grace...

Today
What bitterness or resentment are you going to ask God to take away?
You have prayed for healing. Have you prayed for grace?
What one thing could you do which might help a process of reconciliation?
