Opening Prayer American Sign Language (ASL) Youth

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul:

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness

for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;

Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence

of mine enemies:

Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life:

And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Amen.

The Apostles’ Creed Trustee Ann Williams

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth,

and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord;

who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;

he descended into hell;

the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven,

and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;

from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church;

the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins;

the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Gently you raise me and heal my weary soul,

You lead me by pathways of righteousness and truth,

My spirit shall sing the music of your name. Refrain

Though I should wander the valley of death,

I fear no evil, for you are at my side,

Your rod and your staff, my comfort and my hope. Refrain

You have set me a banquet of love,

In the face of hatred,

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Thy kingdom come,

thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven.

Children’s Zoom Sunday Meets Update

Our Young Disciples came together and practiced the Psalm 23 in ASL (American Sign Language)

and went into Breakout Rooms to talk about our different passages of the 23rd Psalm. Throughout

the week they worked on their artwork and recorded their readings. Our musicians worked hard

with their pieces and their parents helped in recording and sending them to Kaori. Thank you to

all the families and friends who helped us put this year's Youth Sunday together!! I hope you can

join us during Coffee Chat to congratulate the young people and their families. Kaori Hongo
