The total investment of this cartoon software research base is 178 million USD with an area of 20 hectare. The high technology of the project has been authenticated by national innovation committee as state-of-art and the production capacity of the project if completed will be 10 times higher than traditional technology.
TFT-LCDIRICO Electronics Group will spend 14.6 billions of yuan building a 6th generation thin film transistor-liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) plant. Coverage of Phase I is 600 Mu and will be funded by IRICO group, Zhangjiagang EDZ and other strategic investors. Through industry chain, this project will promote the back-up industry with a total output of 5million Yuan and form a relatively complete LCD industry chain. Meanwhile, a LCD research institute will be established in the base. This base is aiming at to establish a domestically leading and world-class LCD industry galaxy.
