Zoar Art Competition & Art Exhibition

Rules: The contest is open to artists everywhere. However, the exhibition of submitted works will only be juried with those selected by the judges to be on exhibit and qualify for awards. Awards will be pre-sented where, in the judges’ opinion, there is suitable merit. All awards in all categories will be rewarded at the judges’ discretions.Subject material must represent Zoar, but may be completed in any style. Those selected for exhibition must be available for display for the duration of the Zoar Harvest Festival, August 1 – 5, 2011. They may, at the artists’ discretions, be offered for sale. A 20% commission will be deducted from all sales. Spon-soring organizations will have the opportunity to purchase works at the established price, prior to public exhibition. The sponsoring organizations also assume rights to publish any entry. In every case, all works must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit.

Deadline: For entries is July 16, 2011. Photographs or slides of entries must be submitted along with a completed entry form to:

Selected entries must be delivered to Whitemyer Advertising, Inc. by July 18 during the hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. All selected entries will be exhibited and winners will be announced during the 2011 Zoar Harvest Festival.

All entries must be picked up at Whitemyer Advertising no later than August 10. If your entry has been offered for sale and such sale occurs, payment will be made to the artist through mail by August 10.
