Shri Krishan Lal Pehlwan son of late Shri Sheetal Chand was born in 1934in village Badyal Brahmna, Tehsil RS Pura. He had two brothers and twosisters. His father was an agriculturist and also a wrestler. The family

shifted from Badyal Brahmna to Muthi in 1947.He studied up to 5th Primary and started wrestling in 1947. Within a short

period he gained prominence in the area. Gradually he expanded his circle up toDelhi, Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. He visited many places in thecountry with his team as a coach. He also worked as booking clerk in K C cinema.

He got married to smt Swarna Devi daughter of Shri Rohlu Ram resident of village Thati, Akhnoor in 1956. He was blessed with three sons and three daughters. His eldest son is a businessman, second one is Lecturer in EducationDepartment and the third one is in police and a national level wrestling player. Hisdaughters are married in good families and are well settled. He was a very honest,upright and straight forward person . He was staunch devotee of Shri Hanuman Ji.

He breathed his last on 9th January, 2017 due to cardiac arrest. He is survivedby his wife, three sons and three daughters. May God give peace to the departedsoul and courage to the family members to bear this loss.
