圖片版權 / 業餘攝影 呂立中 董事長的話 1 2 新安東京海上產險 年 年報 2014年,全球經濟在美國的帶動下呈現溫和復甦趨勢,中國與東協等新興市場經濟 持續成長但速度漸緩,歐元區深受高債務與失業率困擾,而日本的實質經濟成長率則 趨近於零。所幸台灣出口與內需市場的成長表現亮眼,也帶動了整體經濟成長。行政 院主計總處統計資料顯示,2014年實質國內GDP成長3.74%,相較於2013年上升近 1.5個百分點。 產險市場因車市銷售創2006年以來新高,帶動車險業務成長,2014年簽單保費達 1315.6億元,成長率5.9%。本公司簽單保費為101.7億元,較2013年成長約10.8%, 業績表現十分亮眼。如此得來不易的成果,必須歸功於所有同仁於日常業務中落實 「B.E.S.T.」核心價值,在商品開發、核保、理賠等業務領域持續建構長期競爭力, 進而獲得客戶的支持與業績的成長。 更激勵我們繼續朝著永續之路邁進。 展望2015年,國際經濟預測機構樂觀看待全球經濟成長趨勢,全球貿易的復甦預計 將對台灣進出口貿易量有正面影響。行政院主計總處預期2015年我國經濟成長率可 達3.78%,為近4年新高,預期國內產險市場規模也將與總體經濟同步成長。面對 2015年,本公司將透過靈活的經營策略,致力於業務效能與專業的提升,以更好的 營運績效、更貼近客戶需求的商品與服務,回饋給支持我們的股東、合作夥伴、客戶 和社會大眾。 董事長的話 董事長 董事長的話 7 8 新安東京海上產險 年 年報 社會責任 社會責任 為鼓勵員工在閒暇之餘多從事有益身心的休閒活動,創造與工作平衡的健康生活並 有效提升工作效能,本公司積極透過員工旅遊和社團活動補助等福利措施,形成與 休閒生活結合的職場文化與勞資互動的良性循環。2014年取得職工福利委員會補助 之員工旅遊團共有53團,有高達將近九成的員工參與其中;另加入社團的員工亦超 過八成。此外,公司每年分區舉辦家庭日戶外活動,邀請員工家人參與活動,展現 出員工家庭生活與工作間的和諧關係。 新安東京海上長期投入社區公益,回饋社會,自2005年起招募總公司同仁擔任志工, 投入台北市立中正國小交通導護服務迄今已達10年,雙方多年來建立了良好緊密的 合作關係。為協助歷史悠久的中正國小改善校園設施並強化學校特色,雙方透過「 特色發展計畫」,從課程、環境、活動、學生學習四個面向著手,期盼藉由此計畫將 藝術人文種子深植於學童們心中。此外,本公司連續2年響應台南市立圖書館的「非 讀BOOK 台南愛讀冊」活動,針對台南地區偏遠小學進行晨光閱讀教學活動,投入志工 進行閱讀故事導讀,提升郊區學童閱讀能力。 酒駕是車禍的主因之一,常造成無辜生命及財產的重大損失,增加社會負擔。為促 使社會大眾重視酒駕問題,並意識到酒後開車的危害,新安東京海上自2012年開始 推廣酒駕防制宣導,成為全國第一個推動防制酒駕的非酒商企業。2013年本公司以 身作則訂定「內部禁止酒駕管理辦法」,嚴禁員工從事酒駕行為,「不酒後駕車」 的觀念已內化成為企業文化的一部份,員工於參加聚會、尾牙活動前會規劃飲酒後 的交通方式,於聚會中互相提醒酒後不開車,並落實「安全駕駛」制度,積極營造 「不勸開車人喝酒 不讓喝酒人開車」的企業氛圍。 2014年新安東京海上產險持續投入酒駕防制相關公益活動,例如舉辦多場3D模擬 酒醉眼鏡體驗活動,邀請民眾戴上模擬酒測值達1.2及1.7的3D眼鏡,進入迷宮親身 感受喝醉後可能遇到的危險狀況,藉此提醒民眾關心酒後駕車的危險性。另聯合各 界專業人士,在臺灣銀行設立第一個以防制酒駕為目的的公益信託基金,並共同成 立台灣酒駕防制社會關懷協會,為酒駕防制盡一份心力。 為號召更多企業加入推廣防制酒駕的行列,新安東京海上整合車險理賠及道路交通 安全的專業,領先業界共舉辦30場「交通安全企業宣導講座」,由專業理賠人員擔 任交通安全講師,向企業主管及員工宣導交通安全及防制酒駕的重要性,號召企業 團體「將防制酒駕納入企業管理規範」,企盼各企業團體共襄盛舉。 未來,新安東京海上將持續投入各類防制酒駕推廣的工作,並聯合企業及社福團體 等向政府機關提出建言,希望透過政府機關的帶領,促使所有民間企業將防制酒駕 納入企業管理規範。「防制酒駕,從企業做起」,相信必能發揮更大的影響力,給 社會大眾一個安心的生活環境。 持續深耕社區 產總額為184.4億元。各險種經營概況分述如下: 2014年全市場汽車保險簽單保費為734.2億元,較2013年成長8.9%。本公司在持續 建構多元化通路,及以客戶需求為導向,提供差異化服務及商品之策略下,2014全 年簽單保費為73.1億元,成長12.4%。 本公司2014年任意汽車保險自留保費為63.6億元,淨自留保險賠款為33.4億元, 災害應變中心-產險業聯合服務中心,提供理賠、諮詢服務。 為響應政府推動酒後代駕服務,促進社會交通安全,並完善相關配套機制,協助 代駕業者轉嫁風險,本公司推出代理駕駛業責任保險,保障範圍涵蓋代駕業者及 其司機因執行代理駕駛服務期間所發生的車輛碰撞事故,導致的乘客或車外第三 人傷亡或財物損失,幫助業者轉移風險,希望能藉此平衡代駕服務的收費標準, 以提高服務的普遍度,降低酒駕事件的發生。 由於機車發生交通事故的風險遠比其它交通工具來得高,且強制險的保障範圍有 限,本公司特別針對機車騎士推出「好騎全機車險專案」,專案內容包括「機車 強制責任保險」、「機車第三人責任綜合保險」、「機車駕駛人傷害保險」與「 機車乘客責任保險」四項商品,客戶可透過網路輕鬆選擇屬於自己的投保方案, 即使是「機車駕駛人傷害保險」亦可以單獨投保,更加提升機車車主的保障。 台灣仰賴對外出口貿易比率高,企業所要面對的應收帳款風險也跟著攀升,然如可 事先透過保險機制減少壞帳風險,將可使企業無後顧之憂,全力拓展業務。本公司 取得具全球競爭力的貿易信用保險公司Euler Hermes的支持,承辦貿易信用保險, 承保因信用交易所產生之應收帳款風險,協助企業事先評估買方狀況,一旦遇有應 收帳款損失,本公司將依保險契約給付賠款,且因與客戶交易無需採用信用狀或其 險簽單保費為79.7億元,正成長4.5%;其他險簽單保費為22.8億元,正成長7.2%。 本公司2014年新種保險簽單保費為8.9億元,較2013年成長11.8%,工程險簽單保 費為2.5億元,成長率為34.0%;責任險簽單保費為3.1億元,成長6.5%;其他險簽 單保費為3.2億元,正成長3.2%。2014年新種保險自留保費為3.2億元,淨自留保險 賠款為1.3億元,自留滿期損失率39.8%。 展望2015年,預期工程險低費率的經營環境短期間內難有改變,基於穩健經營之核 保策略,除加強風險評估予以篩選外,將持續開發中小型良質業務。責任險及其他 險方面則以穩定合理保費水準、鞏固續保業務以及推動貿易信用險為努力方向。 2014年全市場傷害暨健康保險簽單保費為157.8億元,較2013年成長5.4%,本公司 簽單保費為6.2億元,成長5.7%。 本公司2014年自留保費為6.1億元,淨自留保險賠款為2.9億元,自留滿期損失率在持 續執行業務篩選及鞏固良質通路業務等措施下,由2013年的49.4%下降至48.8%。 由於業務品質管控措施已逐漸產生成效,2015年本公司仍將秉持此一策略,透過銷 售支援、差異商品及服務等計畫的推動,強化與優質保經代及銀行通路的合作,以 順利達成2015年度經營目標。 在穩健經營的策略下,2014年本公司業務與營運績效達成預定之目標,除了保險本 業有穩定表現,資金運用方面也有不錯成績。本公司投資政策所遵循的原則,為符 合法令規定並在可接受的風險程度內,獲取長期穩定的收益;在此原則之下, 2014年本公司資金運用收益為3.3億元,亦為近年最佳的成果。 另外,本公司的經營成果亦得到專業機構的認同, 2015年1月國際信用評等機構美 風險管理與費率適足的前提下,將持續培養專業人員,建構服務的競爭優勢以爭取 業務的穩健成長。 2014年全市場海上保險簽單保費為82.0億元,負成長2.1%,主因係費率競爭而造 成市場保費下滑,本公司全年海上保險簽單保費為3.4億元,正成長6.2%。本公司 2014年自留保費為1.3億元,淨自留保險賠款為0.7億元,自留滿期損失率53.1%。 Annual Report 2014 監察人審查報告書 / Supervisors’ Report 會計師查核報告 / Independent Auditors’ Report 會計師查核報告 Chairman The global economy showed a mild trend of recovery driven by the United States in 2014, but there were still some worries such as emerging markets’ (China’s, ASEAN countries’, etc.) slower growth, European countries’ heavy debt and high unemployment issues, and the zero percent (around) growth issue of Japan real GDP. Fortunately there has been a higher growth in export and domestic market in Taiwan, which also brought up the entire economy. According to statistics announced by Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) of Executive Yuan, real GDP of Taiwan in 2014 was 3.74%, increased by 1.5% comparing to 2013. A growth in motor insurance business, which was benefitted from a record high sale in new vehicle market since 2006, brought direct written premium of non-life insurance market in 2014 to increase by 5.9% to NT$131.56 billion. Direct written premium of TMNewa reached a historical high of NT$10.17 billion, 10.8% better than that of 2013. This fabulous result was accomplished by all our employees consolidating our core values of B. E. S. T. in everyday business practice, building long-term competitiveness in areas such as service quality, underwriting and claims, and therefore to attain clients’ support and business growth. According to our enterprise mission of “to build a safe environment for the society” and based on our “sustainable development” philosophy, TMNewa constantly introduces feature products and differentiated services to meet customers’ needs, protects shareholders’ and policyholders’ rights by managing the company orderly, and maintains good relationship with our employees. As for CSR, aiming to cultivate the community and to show our care about the society, we have been involving in the neighborhood community events and allocating resources to prevent drink driving. By publishing our first “CSR Report” in 2014, we have shown the effort to achieve sustainable development and further more to motivate ourselves to keep walking on the right way. Looking forward to 2015, world economy growth has been optimistically expected by international institutions and therefore the recovery of global trade should bring up the trade volume of Taiwan. Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) of Executive Yuan estimated our economy growth rate to achieve four year high to 3.78% in 2015, and the non-life insurance market would grow with the economy as a whole. Market share was 7.7%, 0.3% higher than the 7.4% in 2013, and market rank stayed at the 5th. . All of motor insurance, fire insurance, marine insurance, miscellaneous insurance and accident & health insurance grew positively, and the performance was historical high. For the year of 2014, net retained premium was NT$8.66 billion, the net incurred loss was NT$4.80 billion, the loss ratio by net earned premium was 58.3%, the net profit after tax was NT$840 million, the earnings per share after tax was NT$2.80, and the total assets was NT$18.44 billion. Details of every business line will be explained below. Direct written premium of motor insurance market as a whole in 2014 was NT$73.42 billion, 8.9% increase comparing to 2013. TMNewa achieved a growth rate of 12.4% to NT$7.31 billion in 2014 since we continuously diversified distribution channels and provided differentiated products and services to meet customers’ needs. Net retained premium in 2014 of voluntary motor insurance was NT$6.36 billion, net incurred loss was NT$3.34 billion, and loss ratio by net earned premium stayed stable at 56.0%. Motor insurance market in 2015 is expected to stay positive with the recovery of vehicle sales. TMNewa will keep developing new channels while maintaining the existing ones, and making continuous effort on exploring and strengthening our differentiated services. We aim to improve business efficiency and customer satisfaction on the basis of constructed market competitiveness. Direct written premium of fire insurance market in 2014 was NT$23.69 billion, 4.3% higher than that in 2013, while TMNewa reached NT$1.02 billion and 3.5% growth rate. The Company’s net retained premiums in 2014 was NT$360 million, net incurred loss was NT$130 million, and loss ratio by net earned premium was 33.1%. Commercial fire insurance market in 2015 is still expected to be price- competitive, and therefore the market may not expand much. TMNewa will continue to train employees and improve our service competitiveness for stable business growth while monitoring closely on risk management and rate adequacy. Direct written premium of marine insurance market in 2014 deteriorated by 2.1% to NT$8.2 billion caused by rate competition, whilst TMNewa faced a positive 6.2% growth to reach a direct written premium of NT$337 million. Net retained premium was NT$130 million, net incurred loss was NT$70 million, and the loss ratio by net earned premium was 53.1%. Marine insurance market is expected to stay flat or grow slightly in 2015. Direct written premium of miscellaneous insurance market in 2014 stayed the same at NT$14.17 billion. Among which engineering insurance decreased by 10.9% to NT$3.92 billion due to lower market rates and less big cases, liability insurance increased by 4.5% to NT$7.97 billion, and other insurance business increased by 7.2% to NT$2.28 billion. Miscellaneous insurance premium of TMNew in 2014 grew 11.8% to NT$886 million. Engineering insurance grew 34.0% to NT$254 million. Liability insurance grew 6.5% to NT$314 million, and others grew 3.2% to NT$318 million. Net retained premium was NT$320 million, net incurred loss was NT$130 million, and loss ratio by net earned premium was 39.8%. In 2015, the low-rate engineering insurance market environment is not expected to improve in a short term, therefore based on our stable underwriting policies, we will focus on risk assessment while continuing to explore small to middle sized business. As for liability and other insurance, we will focus on stabilizing rates at a reasonable level, securing renewal business and working more on trade credit insurance. Direct written premium of accident & health insurance market in 2014 grew by 5.4% to NT$15.78 billion, and ours grew by 5.7% to NT$622 million comparing to that of 2013. In order to promote substitute driver service to decrease the drink driving behavior, we introduced “Substitute Driver Liability Insurance” covering property damage or injury / death of passengers or third party, hoping to transfer the risk away from the substitute drivers and/or their companies so that the substitute driver service will be provided more commonly and cheaply. Since the accident risk for motorcycles is higher than other means of transportationand the cover for compulsory insurance is limited, we introduced a package of motorcycle insurance consisting of “ Compulsory Motorcycle Liability Insurance”, “Third Party Comprehensive Liability Insurance”, Motorcyclist’s Personal Accident Insurance” and “Motorcycle Passenger Liability Insurance”. Customers can choose one or more protections according to their needs by just one click. Since Taiwan highly relies on exports, trading companies face higher account receivables risk than others. To help companies lower their bad debts risk, with support from Euler Hermes, one of the most competitive trade credit insurers, we undertakes account receivables risk occurred with credit trading, help companies evaluate their trade partners. Once suffered a loss in account receivables, we will pay for the damages. We also arranged doctors from Taiwan Adventist Hospital to provide medical consultation every three months. In order to encourage employees to do quality leisure activities, to create a good balance between work and life and therefore, to effectively improve working efficiency, we held company trips and subsidized community activities to help good communication within employees and maintain healthy labor relationship. In 2014, we subsidized 53 employee trips that more than 90% of our staffs attended. Also more than 80% of employees joined the community activities. We joined “Love to Read” event held by State Library in Tainan for the two consecutive years. Volunteers from TMNewa helped school children in remote areas in Tainan to read more books during their morning session, wishing to enhance their interest for reading and therefore to improve their reading ability. Drink Driving has been the main cause for car accidents, and bringing great loss in life and property. To urge the society to face the drink driving problem and realize the possible damage it could bring, TMNewa became the first non-alcohol merchandise to advocate on the concept of “No Drink Driving” since 2012. We have established rules within the company in 2013 to prevent any drink driving behavior of employees, and since then the no drink driving has become the corporate culture. Co-workers remind each other not to drink drive in any events or parties and also plan for transportation before hand. We aim to build a company atmosphere that not to encourage drinking and not allow drink driving. We have held related events in 2014. For example, we held activities simulating what a person may see when he or she drinks up to 1.2 and 1.7 blood alcohol level by putting on a 3D glasses to help people realize and remind them all the possible dangers they may face with drink driving. We were the first one to establish a charitable trust helping prevent drink driving in Bank of Taiwan. Aiming to contribute more in the area of preventing drink driving, we also gathered many sectors of the society to form a Taiwan Anti Drink Driving Association. In order to urge more companies to join us, we were the first to hold 30 “Safe Traffic Seminars” for enterprises hosted by our claim staffs to promote the importance of drive safely and no drink driving, hoping attended companies to establish rules on no drink driving to protect their employees. The Board of Directors is formed by 13 directors and 3 supervisors to monitor the company’s practice and to take final responsibility for all the business and risk management. To build a corporate culture based on honest and trust, we established “Ethical Corporate Management Best Practice Principles” in 2014 in order to prevent any dishonest behavior and therefore to create a sustainable business environment. To strengthen the risk management of the company, the chairman takes the duty to call the risk management committee and to monitor the risk management system. 2014年,全球經濟在美國的帶動下呈現溫和復甦趨勢,中國與東協等新興市場經濟

持續成長但速度漸緩,歐元區深受高債務與失業率困擾,而日本的實質經濟成長率則

趨近於零。所幸台灣出口與內需市場的成長表現亮眼,也帶動了整體經濟成長。行政

院主計總處統計資料顯示,2014年實質國內GDP成長3.74%,相較於2013年上升近

1.5個百分點。

產險市場因車市銷售創2006年以來新高,帶動車險業務成長,2014年簽單保費達

1315.6億元,成長率5.9%。本公司簽單保費為101.7億元,較2013年成長約10.8%,

業績表現十分亮眼。如此得來不易的成果,必須歸功於所有同仁於日常業務中落實

「B.E.S.T.」核心價值,在商品開發、核保、理賠等業務領域持續建構長期競爭力,

進而獲得客戶的支持與業績的成長。

基於「打造一個社會大眾安心的生活環境」的企業使命與初衷,本公司秉持「永續發

展」的經營理念,持續推出滿足客戶需求的特色商品與貼心的差異化服務,以嚴謹的

公司治理制度維護股東及保戶的權益,並創造和諧正向的員工關係。在公益方面,本

著「深耕社區 關懷社會」的宗旨,持續深耕社區並關懷酒駕防制等社會議題。在2014

年出版的第一本「企業永續報告書」中,展現出本公司為永續發展所做的努力和用心,

更激勵我們繼續朝著永續之路邁進。

展望2015年,國際經濟預測機構樂觀看待全球經濟成長趨勢,全球貿易的復甦預計

將對台灣進出口貿易量有正面影響。行政院主計總處預期2015年我國經濟成長率可

達3.78%,為近4年新高,預期國內產險市場規模也將與總體經濟同步成長。面對

2015年,本公司將透過靈活的經營策略,致力於業務效能與專業的提升,以更好的

營運績效、更貼近客戶需求的商品與服務,回饋給支持我們的股東、合作夥伴、客戶

和社會大眾。

社會責任社會責任

為鼓勵員工在閒暇之餘多從事有益身心的休閒活動,創造與工作平衡的健康生活並

有效提升工作效能,本公司積極透過員工旅遊和社團活動補助等福利措施,形成與

休閒生活結合的職場文化與勞資互動的良性循環。2014年取得職工福利委員會補助

之員工旅遊團共有53團,有高達將近九成的員工參與其中;另加入社團的員工亦超

過八成。此外,公司每年分區舉辦家庭日戶外活動,邀請員工家人參與活動,展現

出員工家庭生活與工作間的和諧關係。

新安東京海上長期投入社區公益,回饋社會,自2005年起招募總公司同仁擔任志工,

投入台北市立中正國小交通導護服務迄今已達10年,雙方多年來建立了良好緊密的

合作關係。為協助歷史悠久的中正國小改善校園設施並強化學校特色,雙方透過「

特色發展計畫」,從課程、環境、活動、學生學習四個面向著手,期盼藉由此計畫將

藝術人文種子深植於學童們心中。此外,本公司連續2年響應台南市立圖書館的「非

讀BOOK 台南愛讀冊」活動,針對台南地區偏遠小學進行晨光閱讀教學活動,投入志工

進行閱讀故事導讀,提升郊區學童閱讀能力。

酒駕是車禍的主因之一,常造成無辜生命及財產的重大損失,增加社會負擔。為促

使社會大眾重視酒駕問題,並意識到酒後開車的危害,新安東京海上自2012年開始

推廣酒駕防制宣導,成為全國第一個推動防制酒駕的非酒商企業。2013年本公司以

身作則訂定「內部禁止酒駕管理辦法」,嚴禁員工從事酒駕行為,「不酒後駕車」

的觀念已內化成為企業文化的一部份,員工於參加聚會、尾牙活動前會規劃飲酒後

的交通方式,於聚會中互相提醒酒後不開車,並落實「安全駕駛」制度,積極營造

「不勸開車人喝酒 不讓喝酒人開車」的企業氛圍。

2014年新安東京海上產險持續投入酒駕防制相關公益活動,例如舉辦多場3D模擬

酒醉眼鏡體驗活動,邀請民眾戴上模擬酒測值達1.2及1.7的3D眼鏡,進入迷宮親身

感受喝醉後可能遇到的危險狀況,藉此提醒民眾關心酒後駕車的危險性。另聯合各

界專業人士,在臺灣銀行設立第一個以防制酒駕為目的的公益信託基金,並共同成

立台灣酒駕防制社會關懷協會,為酒駕防制盡一份心力。

為號召更多企業加入推廣防制酒駕的行列,新安東京海上整合車險理賠及道路交通

安全的專業,領先業界共舉辦30場「交通安全企業宣導講座」,由專業理賠人員擔

任交通安全講師,向企業主管及員工宣導交通安全及防制酒駕的重要性,號召企業

團體「將防制酒駕納入企業管理規範」,企盼各企業團體共襄盛舉。

未來,新安東京海上將持續投入各類防制酒駕推廣的工作,並聯合企業及社福團體

等向政府機關提出建言,希望透過政府機關的帶領,促使所有民間企業將防制酒駕

納入企業管理規範。「防制酒駕,從企業做起」,相信必能發揮更大的影響力,給

社會大眾一個安心的生活環境。

本公司2014年直接簽單保費為101.7億元,較2013年成長10.8%;市場佔有率為

7.7%,較2013年7.4%上升0.3個百分點,市場排名維持第五名。2014年本公司持續

以穩健成長之經營策略,拓展多元化銷售通路、均衡險種業務發展、提升客戶服務

品質,繳出了亮眼的成績單,全年度汽車保險、火災保險、海上保險、新種保險及

傷害暨健康險皆為正成長,整體業績也創下了歷史新高。

2014年本公司自留保費為86.6億元,淨自留保險賠款為48.0億元,自留滿期損失率

58.3%,稅後淨利為8.4億元,稅後每股盈餘為2.80元,截至2014年12月31日之資

產總額為184.4億元。各險種經營概況分述如下:

2014年全市場汽車保險簽單保費為734.2億元,較2013年成長8.9%。本公司在持續

建構多元化通路,及以客戶需求為導向,提供差異化服務及商品之策略下,2014全

年簽單保費為73.1億元,成長12.4%。

本公司2014年任意汽車保險自留保費為63.6億元,淨自留保險賠款為33.4億元,

2014年自留滿期損失率為56.0%,維持長期以來穩定的損失率水準。

2015年汽車保險市場預期將延續2014年車市景氣復甦所帶來之成長趨勢,本公司將

秉持一貫經營理念,鞏固既有通路、致力開拓多元銷售通路、並持續規劃及落實服務

差異化,期許在已建構的市場競爭利基上,不斷地提升經營效益及客戶滿意度。

2014年全市場火災保險簽單保費236.9億元,較2013年正成長4.3%,本公司全年簽火災保險

2014年7月31日凌晨高雄發生氣爆事件,新安東京海上在第一時間組成「重大災

害緊急服務小組」,啟動通報系統、保戶關懷與快速理賠機制,由同仁去電或親

自登門拜訪客戶,以確認其安危,並派員至現場關懷受傷民眾,由專人常駐高雄

災害應變中心-產險業聯合服務中心,提供理賠、諮詢服務。

為響應政府推動酒後代駕服務,促進社會交通安全,並完善相關配套機制,協助

代駕業者轉嫁風險,本公司推出代理駕駛業責任保險,保障範圍涵蓋代駕業者及

其司機因執行代理駕駛服務期間所發生的車輛碰撞事故,導致的乘客或車外第三

人傷亡或財物損失,幫助業者轉移風險,希望能藉此平衡代駕服務的收費標準,

以提高服務的普遍度,降低酒駕事件的發生。

由於機車發生交通事故的風險遠比其它交通工具來得高,且強制險的保障範圍有

限,本公司特別針對機車騎士推出「好騎全機車險專案」,專案內容包括「機車

強制責任保險」、「機車第三人責任綜合保險」、「機車駕駛人傷害保險」與「

機車乘客責任保險」四項商品,客戶可透過網路輕鬆選擇屬於自己的投保方案,

即使是「機車駕駛人傷害保險」亦可以單獨投保,更加提升機車車主的保障。

台灣仰賴對外出口貿易比率高,企業所要面對的應收帳款風險也跟著攀升,然如可

事先透過保險機制減少壞帳風險,將可使企業無後顧之憂,全力拓展業務。本公司

取得具全球競爭力的貿易信用保險公司Euler Hermes的支持,承辦貿易信用保險,

承保因信用交易所產生之應收帳款風險,協助企業事先評估買方狀況,一旦遇有應

收帳款損失,本公司將依保險契約給付賠款,且因與客戶交易無需採用信用狀或其

他抵押交易,將可降低交易成本進而提高產品競爭力,創造更高的獲利。

重視人才培育落實健康職場

在穩健經營的策略下,新安東京海上持續朝向「成為專業且貼心的最佳產險公司」

的願景而努力,提供全方位的商品與差異化服務,滿足客戶的需求;在此同時仍不

忘積極實踐企業社會責任,持續關懷員工、社區鄰里和社會弱勢等,基於回饋社會

的理念,履行企業公民應負擔的義務,並藉此提升競爭優勢,以達到永續經營的最

終目標。

人才培育關係著公司的長期競爭力。新安東京海上產險透過職內訓練、職外訓練及

自我啟發等三大訓練體系,搭配績效考核、適當的晉升與獎勵制度,激勵員工自我

突破,提升個人工作績效並建構公司競爭優勢。本公司依專業人員訓練藍圖進行各

項人才訓練計畫,例如新進人員引導訓練、新人訓練、核保及理賠專業訓練、營業

人員訓練等,俾使同仁於不同階段習得應有之專業能力。在主管訓練方面,辦理基

層主管「指導」職能訓練,使主管學習對部屬提供及時的回饋及指導之技能,以提

升部門績效。此外,每年積極派員參與國外保險機構主辦之研習活動,並定期遴選

績優員工至海外實習,以提升員工的國際視野及專業能力。

隨著飲食西化和生活習慣改變,心血管疾病及代謝症候群已成為上班族發生率較高

的疾病,本公司每年舉辦員工身體健康檢查,特別將心血管疾病及代謝症候群列為

檢查範圍,由專業人員於健康檢查報告外,另提供症狀分析報告,協助同仁自我健

康管理或安排就醫,達到及早發現,及早治療的目的。另本公司聘任具有合格執照

的護理師,每週定期於總公司提供駐點衛教及血壓、體溫量測服務等;同時與臺安醫

院合作,每季安排家醫科醫師於總公司提供現場與電話遠端醫療諮詢服務,及舉辦健

康知識講座,藉此提供員工正確的健康觀念,提醒員工重視自己和家人的健康。

險簽單保費為79.7億元,正成長4.5%;其他險簽單保費為22.8億元,正成長7.2%。

本公司2014年新種保險簽單保費為8.9億元,較2013年成長11.8%,工程險簽單保

費為2.5億元,成長率為34.0%;責任險簽單保費為3.1億元,成長6.5%;其他險簽

單保費為3.2億元,正成長3.2%。2014年新種保險自留保費為3.2億元,淨自留保險

賠款為1.3億元,自留滿期損失率39.8%。

展望2015年,預期工程險低費率的經營環境短期間內難有改變,基於穩健經營之核

保策略,除加強風險評估予以篩選外,將持續開發中小型良質業務。責任險及其他

險方面則以穩定合理保費水準、鞏固續保業務以及推動貿易信用險為努力方向。

2014年全市場傷害暨健康保險簽單保費為157.8億元,較2013年成長5.4%,本公司

簽單保費為6.2億元,成長5.7%。

本公司2014年自留保費為6.1億元,淨自留保險賠款為2.9億元,自留滿期損失率在持

續執行業務篩選及鞏固良質通路業務等措施下,由2013年的49.4%下降至48.8%。

由於業務品質管控措施已逐漸產生成效,2015年本公司仍將秉持此一策略,透過銷

售支援、差異商品及服務等計畫的推動,強化與優質保經代及銀行通路的合作,以

順利達成2015年度經營目標。

在穩健經營的策略下,2014年本公司業務與營運績效達成預定之目標,除了保險本

業有穩定表現,資金運用方面也有不錯成績。本公司投資政策所遵循的原則,為符

合法令規定並在可接受的風險程度內,獲取長期穩定的收益;在此原則之下,

2014年本公司資金運用收益為3.3億元,亦為近年最佳的成果。

另外,本公司的經營成果亦得到專業機構的認同, 2015年1月國際信用評等機構美

國標準普爾(S&P's)將本公司信評等級維持「A+」,為目前業界最高且唯一獲得「

風險管理與費率適足的前提下,將持續培養專業人員,建構服務的競爭優勢以爭取

成市場保費下滑,本公司全年海上保險簽單保費為3.4億元,正成長6.2%。本公司

2014年自留保費為1.3億元,淨自留保險賠款為0.7億元,自留滿期損失率53.1%。

展望2015年,海上保險市場預期持平或微幅成長,本公司業務拓展方向仍持續以貨

物運輸險之良質業務為主,其他險種則考量風險後審慎篩選業務,以「質量並重」

的策略確保達成年度營運目標。

新種保險2014年全市場簽單保費為141.7億元,與2013年大致相當,其中工程險簽

Chairman

The global economy showed a mild trend of recovery driven by the United States in 2014,

but there were still some worries such as emerging markets’ (China’s, ASEAN countries’,

etc.) slower growth, European countries’ heavy debt and high unemployment issues, and

the zero percent (around) growth issue of Japan real GDP. Fortunately there has been a

higher growth in export and domestic market in Taiwan, which also brought up the entire

economy. According to statistics announced by Directorate General of Budget,

Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) of Executive Yuan, real GDP of Taiwan in 2014 was

3.74%, increased by 1.5% comparing to 2013.

A growth in motor insurance business, which was benefitted from a record high sale in new

vehicle market since 2006, brought direct written premium of non-life insurance market in

2014 to increase by 5.9% to NT$131.56 billion. Direct written premium of TMNewa reached

a historical high of NT$10.17 billion, 10.8% better than that of 2013. This fabulous result was

accomplished by all our employees consolidating our core values of B. E. S. T. in everyday

business practice, building long-term competitiveness in areas such as service quality,

underwriting and claims, and therefore to attain clients’ support and business growth.

According to our enterprise mission of “to build a safe environment for the society” and

based on our “sustainable development” philosophy, TMNewa constantly introduces

feature products and differentiated services to meet customers’ needs, protects

shareholders’ and policyholders’ rights by managing the company orderly, and maintains

good relationship with our employees. As for CSR, aiming to cultivate the community and

to show our care about the society, we have been involving in the neighborhood

community events and allocating resources to prevent drink driving. By publishing our first

“CSR Report” in 2014, we have shown the effort to achieve sustainable development and

further more to motivate ourselves to keep walking on the right way.

Looking forward to 2015, world economy growth has been optimistically expected by

international institutions and therefore the recovery of global trade should bring up the

trade volume of Taiwan. Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS)

of Executive Yuan estimated our economy growth rate to achieve four year high to 3.78%

in 2015, and the non-life insurance market would grow with the economy as a whole. For

the coming year, we will keep improving our efficiency and professionalism for better

performance through flexible business strategies, and providing better products and

services to our shareholders, clients and the society.

Direct written premium in 2014 was NT$10.17 billion, 10.8% higher than that in

2013. Market share was 7.7%, 0.3% higher than the 7.4% in 2013, and market rank

stayed at the 5th. . Under our business strategy of stable growth, the result in 2014

was fabulous since we had diversified distribution channels, balanced business

structure and improved service quality. All of motor insurance, fire insurance,

marine insurance, miscellaneous insurance and accident & health insurance grew

positively, and the performance was historical high.

For the year of 2014, net retained premium was NT$8.66 billion, the net incurred

loss was NT$4.80 billion, the loss ratio by net earned premium was 58.3%, the net

profit after tax was NT$840 million, the earnings per share after tax was NT$2.80,

and the total assets was NT$18.44 billion. Details of every business line will be

explained below.

Direct written premium of motor insurance market as a whole in 2014 was

NT$73.42 billion, 8.9% increase comparing to 2013. TMNewa achieved a growth

rate of 12.4% to NT$7.31 billion in 2014 since we continuously diversified

distribution channels and provided differentiated products and services to meet

customers’ needs.

Net retained premium in 2014 of voluntary motor insurance was NT$6.36 billion,

net incurred loss was NT$3.34 billion, and loss ratio by net earned premium

stayed stable at 56.0%.

Motor insurance market in 2015 is expected to stay positive with the recovery of

vehicle sales. TMNewa will keep developing new channels while maintaining the

existing ones, and making continuous effort on exploring and strengthening our

differentiated services. We aim to improve business efficiency and customer

satisfaction on the basis of constructed market competitiveness.

Direct written premium of fire insurance market in 2014 was NT$23.69 billion, 4.3%

higher than that in 2013, while TMNewa reached NT$1.02 billion and 3.5% growth

rate. Aiming to explore more of our competitiveness, TMNewa continued to

strengthen professionalism of our employees, and to provide clients with advices

for loss prevention and plans for asset protection. The Company’s net retained

premiums in 2014 was NT$360 million, net incurred loss was NT$130 million, and

loss ratio by net earned premium was 33.1%.

Commercial fire insurance market in 2015 is still expected to be price-

competitive, and therefore the market may not expand much. TMNewa will

continue to train employees and improve our service competitiveness for stable

business growth while monitoring closely on risk management and rate adequacy.

Direct written premium of marine insurance market in 2014 deteriorated by 2.1%

to NT$8.2 billion caused by rate competition, whilst TMNewa faced a positive

6.2% growth to reach a direct written premium of NT$337 million. Net retained

premium was NT$130 million, net incurred loss was NT$70 million, and the loss

ratio by net earned premium was 53.1%.

Marine insurance market is expected to stay flat or grow slightly in 2015. TMNewa

will still focus on profitable cargo insurance, and choose any others after assessing

risk factors, making sure the annual budget can be achieved with a healthy

balance between sales performance and quality.

Direct written premium of miscellaneous insurance market in 2014 stayed the

same at NT$14.17 billion. Among which engineering insurance decreased by

10.9% to NT$3.92 billion due to lower market rates and less big cases, liability

insurance increased by 4.5% to NT$7.97 billion, and other insurance business

increased by 7.2% to NT$2.28 billion.

Miscellaneous insurance premium of TMNew in 2014 grew 11.8% to NT$886

million. Engineering insurance grew 34.0% to NT$254 million. Liability insurance

grew 6.5% to NT$314 million, and others grew 3.2% to NT$318 million. Net

retained premium was NT$320 million, net incurred loss was NT$130 million, and

loss ratio by net earned premium was 39.8%.

In 2015, the low-rate engineering insurance market environment is not expected

to improve in a short term, therefore based on our stable underwriting policies,

we will focus on risk assessment while continuing to explore small to middle sized

business. As for liability and other insurance, we will focus on stabilizing rates at a

reasonable level, securing renewal business and working more on trade credit

insurance.

Direct written premium of accident & health insurance market in 2014 grew by

5.4% to NT$15.78 billion, and ours grew by 5.7% to NT$622 million comparing to

that of 2013.

The company’s net retained premium was NT$610 million, net incurred loss was

NT$290 million, and the net loss ratio by net earned premium improved from

49.4% in 2013 to 48.8% in 2014 since we continued to assess risk level of business

percentage reached 55.17%. We also offer legal consultation service for

serious injured clients. Our professional claims staffs also help clients solve

complicated lawsuits and make sure their rights to be protected by providing

advices about damages payment and legal procedure especially during the

rush hours, our call center staffs remain at their posts and provide all the

services clients need.

For the gas explosion happened in Kaohsiung on July 31, 2014, TMNewa

immediately formed “Emergency Service Team” to initiate reporting

mechanism, client support system and fast claim payment scheme. Our staffs

went to the site to make sure our clients were safe, and also to help people in

need. Our Emergency Service Team staffs were also stationed at the Non-Life

Insurance Service Center to provide claim and consultation services.

In order to promote substitute driver service to decrease the drink driving

behavior, we introduced “Substitute Driver Liability Insurance” covering

property damage or injury / death of passengers or third party, hoping to

transfer the risk away from the substitute drivers and/or their companies so

that the substitute driver service will be provided more commonly and cheaply.

Since the accident risk for motorcycles is higher than other means of

transportationand the cover for compulsory insurance is limited, we

introduced a package of motorcycle insurance consisting of “ Compulsory

Motorcycle Liability Insurance”, “Third Party Comprehensive Liability

Insurance”, Motorcyclist’s Personal Accident Insurance” and “Motorcycle

Passenger Liability Insurance”. Customers can choose one or more protections

according to their needs by just one click.

Since Taiwan highly relies on exports, trading companies face higher account

receivables risk than others. To help companies lower their bad debts risk, with

support from Euler Hermes, one of the most competitive trade credit insurers,

we undertakes account receivables risk occurred with credit trading, help

companies evaluate their trade partners. Once suffered a loss in account

receivables, we will pay for the damages. This insurance allows trades without

letter of credit or pledges therefore trading cost can be decreased and

competitiveness and profits can be increased for trading companies.

every week to the head office to take blood pressure and temperature for

employees. We also arranged doctors from Taiwan Adventist Hospital to provide

medical consultation every three months.

In order to encourage employees to do quality leisure activities, to create a good

balance between work and life and therefore, to effectively improve working

efficiency, we held company trips and subsidized community activities to help

good communication within employees and maintain healthy labor relationship. In

2014, we subsidized 53 employee trips that more than 90% of our staffs attended.

Also more than 80% of employees joined the community activities. We held

outdoor activities on Family Day to invite families of all our employees, aiming to

blend company and family into a harmonic relationship.

TMNewa has been devoting to social services to feed back to the society. We have

been recruiting people in the headquarter office to provide traffic directing service

for children in Zhong Zheng Elementary School for 10 years. To help Zhong Zheng

Elementary School which has a long history, to renovate their equipment and find

Aiming to help employees to learn what they need for jobs at different stage, we

have every kind of professional training courses such as introduction and

educational program for new coming staffs, trainings on underwriting, claims and

sales techniques. Training for supervisors helps managers to provide prompt

feedback and instruction to the staffs when needed, and therefore the department

performance will be improved. Other than that, we aggressively send people to

attend overseas seminars held by foreign insurance institutes, and elect staffs with

good performance to work as trainees in our overseas group companies to

promote their international vision and professional level. Through on-the-job

training, off-the-job training and self-inspiration, with performance evaluation and

proper motivation schemes to encourage employees to go beyond themselves, to

improve job performance and therefore to construct company competitiveness.

their school features, TMNewa cooperated with them to form a “Feature

Development Plan”, starting with curriculum, environment, activities and study,

hoping to establish art and culture concept for the children.

We joined “Love to Read” event held by State Library in Tainan for the two

consecutive years. Volunteers from TMNewa helped school children in remote

areas in Tainan to read more books during their morning session, wishing to

enhance their interest for reading and therefore to improve their reading ability.

Drink Driving has been the main cause for car accidents, and bringing great loss in

life and property. To urge the society to face the drink driving problem and realize

the possible damage it could bring, TMNewa became the first non-alcohol

merchandise to advocate on the concept of “No Drink Driving” since 2012. We

have established rules within the company in 2013 to prevent any drink driving

behavior of employees, and since then the no drink driving has become the

corporate culture. Co-workers remind each other not to drink drive in any events or

parties and also plan for transportation before hand. We aim to build a company

atmosphere that not to encourage drinking and not allow drink driving.

We have held related events in 2014. For example, we held activities simulating

what a person may see when he or she drinks up to 1.2 and 1.7 blood alcohol level

by putting on a 3D glasses to help people realize and remind them all the possible

dangers they may face with drink driving. We were the first one to establish a

charitable trust helping prevent drink driving in Bank of Taiwan. Aiming to

contribute more in the area of preventing drink driving, we also gathered many

sectors of the society to form a Taiwan Anti Drink Driving Association.

In order to urge more companies to join us, we were the first to hold 30 “Safe Traffic

Seminars” for enterprises hosted by our claim staffs to promote the importance of

drive safely and no drink driving, hoping attended companies to establish rules on

no drink driving to protect their employees.

In the future, TMNewa will keep advocating for preventing drink driving, and will

call for more enterprises and associations to establish their own “not to drink

drive” rules within the organizations, hoping to turn the society into a better and

safer place to live, starting from the company ourselves.

Since the result of business quality control is eventually shown, TMNew will keep

adopting this strategy to achieve annual budget for 2015 via plans such as

support for sales, product and service differentiation, and cooperation with

trust-worthy broker/agent and bank channels.

With our stable business management strategy, we have achieved all the targets

established for business and performance. We showed a good result not only in our

core business, but also in our investment. Our strategy for investment is to target for

long-term stable return within acceptable and legally defined risk range. Our return

on investment amounted to NT$330 million to be the best result in recent years.

Professional institutes also recognized our performance. We are rated and

maintained at “A+” by Standard & Poor’s on January 2015, the highest and the only

company rated “A+” in the non-life insurance industry. It showed that objective

third parties have proved our excellent performance.

新安東京海上於2010年由董事會通過制定公司治理守則,做為推動公司治理業務的

最高內部規範,並依此建置有效的公司治理架構。本公司由13位董事組成董事會,

對公司各項營運與風險管理負最終責任;另設置3位監察人,負責公司業務執行之

監督。為建立誠信經營的企業文化,於2014年通過制定「誠信經營守則」,積極

防範不誠信行為,以創造永續發展的經營環境。

為強化整體風險管理機制,本公司由董事長擔任風險管理委員會之召集人,負責督

導風險管理制度的執行狀況,另由董事會任命風控長,擔任風險管理最高主管,綜

理公司整體風險管理。本公司風險管理政策以「確保公司資本適足與清償能力,

落實風險與報酬之平衡性,以穩健達成經營目標」為宗旨,藉由建置個別風險管

理、緊急應變及整合性風險管理等三大風險管理機制,及領先業界的內控自評檢

核制度(CSA),積極為股東及客戶的權益把關,使新安東京海上成為讓社會大眾

心安信賴的產險公司。

當客戶在面對交通事故時常伴隨著龐大的身心負擔,針對小額損失交通事故在當事人同

意下,可由理賠人員協助溝通並促成現場和解,讓原本平均達數月的理賠處理時間大幅

縮短,節省保戶的寶貴時間並減輕其心理壓力。2014年理賠現場和解之可執行和解件數

和解率達55.17%。針對重大體傷案件另提供法律諮詢服務,由專業人員提供保戶有關賠

償與訴訟程序等諮詢,協助保戶在面對繁雜的賠償和訴訟程序時,維護自身權益。

依統計數據顯示,本公司0800客戶服務專線在下午5點半至晚上9點之客戶進線

比率及幅度為中高峰期,為提升客戶接聽滿意度及服務品質,自2014年7月起,

由客服中心0800服務專線自主接聽之時段自下午5點半延長至晚上9點,在交通

事故發生頻率較高的下班尖峰時刻,由本公司經專業訓練的客服人員堅守崗位,

持續提供客戶最貼心專業的服務。

健全公司治理落實風管機制

服務迅速貼心重視品質提升

榮獲國際信用評等機構美國標準普爾公司授予信評等級維持為「A+」優良等級,同

時中華信用評等公司亦確認評等為「twAAA」,長期評等之評等展望為「穩定」。

推出「代理駕駛業責任保險」,期能協助代駕服務推展,降低酒駕事件的發生率。

購置內湖營業部及彰化營業部之新辦公室,提升員工辦公環境品質,展現在地深

耕經營的決心。

董事會決議通過陳潤智總經理退休案,並聘任原商品體系副總經理簡仲明先生擔

任本公司總經理。

股東常會改選第六屆董事及監察人,並召開臨時董事會推舉陳忠鏗先生續任董事

長,陳潤智先生擔任副董事長,吳建立先生擔任榮譽副董事長。

舉辦「貿易信用保險-值得開發的藍海」研討會,協助企業客戶瞭解貿易信用保險

的市場現況、商品功能與競爭優勢。

舉辦「心安盃公益籃球賽」,結合防制酒駕宣導與「3D模擬酒醉眼鏡闖關體驗」

活動,讓社會大眾更了解酒駕的危害。

與台北市中正國小攜手合作推行「特色發展計畫」,結合學校專業師資,培養學

TMNewa keens on protecting all stakeholders’ benefits with a comprehensive

management system and effort to maintain outstanding performance. The Board

of Directors is formed by 13 directors and 3 supervisors to monitor the company’s

practice and to take final responsibility for all the business and risk management.

To build a corporate culture based on honest and trust, we established “Ethical

Corporate Management Best Practice Principles” in 2014 in order to prevent any

dishonest behavior and therefore to create a sustainable business environment.

To strengthen the risk management of the company, the chairman takes the duty to

call the risk management committee and to monitor the risk management system.

In addition, Board of Directors also assigns Chief Risk Officer to oversee the whole

risk management of the company. The object of our risk management policy is to

ensure the balance between capital adequacy and solvency, balance between risk

and return, to achieve business goal stably. We wish to become a reliable non-life

insurance company for our shareholders and clients by being the first in the

industry to establish a control self-assessment system (CSA) and three main risk

control systems namely individual risk control, emergency plan and integrated risk

management.

Knowing that clients often panic when facing traffic accidents, our claim staffs help

to negotiate both parties to settle on site to save clients’ time and shorten the
