FINISHING : Cut batting and backing 3” larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and
top together and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing.
Bind as usual. Finished Quilt Size: 44” W x 63”L

10. Sew (1) Side Border to the left and (1) to the right of Quilt Center. (Note the rotation)
11. Sew the Top Border to the top and then sew the Bottom Border to the bottom of Quilt Center to complete quilt. (Note the rotation)

CORNER LEAF BLOCKS: 1. Sew a Fabrics G and B 3-7/8” triangle together to make a BG Block. Square to 3 ½”. Make 4.
2. Stem Block: Sew the Fabric G 1 3/8” x 4” bias strip wrong sides together lengthwise with a 1/8” seam. Press the seam to the back and applique it diagonally to a Fabric B 3 ½” square. Trim corners to 3 ½”square.
3. Sew together leaf blocks using BG Blocks, G 3-1/2” squares and B 3-1/2” squares following the diagram to the right. Square to 9-1/2”
4. Repeat steps 1-3 replacing G fabrics with H, I and J fabrics following the diagrams to the right.Make 1 of each.

7. Following the diagrams below using C, D, E and F 3 ½” & 2 ½” x 9 ½” rectangles, create Top and Bottom Borders. Make 1 Top Border and 1 Bottom Border.
8. Following the diagrams below using C, D, E, and F 3 ½” x 9 ½” rectangles, create Side Borders. Make 2.
