PARISH INFORMATION & EVENTS

This is where you, as a parishioner, can make a differ-
ence. Your participation can positively affect the health of
our beloved school. As our school enrollment increases,
we are seeing more and more families in financial need. At
some point in life, even the most prepared can experience
hardships: a death in the family, the loss of a job, and nu-
merous things that set our lives on end. While they may
want to continue to send their children to Christ the King,
parents may be forced to withdraw their children because
of financial obligations. Again, no child should be denied
the opportunity to be blessed with a Catholic education.
Each year, CTK families, parishioners, alumni and friends
have been invaluable in helping us assist families touched
by difficulties, by making contributions to the Tuition Assis-
tance Program. We need your help so that we can contin-
ue to provide Catholic Education to those families in need.
Your support of Christ the King School will truly support
each student we serve. What could bring you more joy
than providing a quality academic, spiritual, and moral
education for our children? An investment in our children
today is certain to bring extraordinary results to our church
and community in the future.
Please keep us in mind if you are looking to make an end
of year donation. North Dakota has some great tax incen-
tives, so please look into those if you are interested. If you
would like to sponsor a student, please call or stop by the
school office. Any amount helps, and our children are
grateful!
Thank you for your generosity!

From the Pastor:
What Solomon requests of God is what each of us
need to be asking God to give to us: an understanding
heart to judge your people and to distinguish right
from wrong. If we allow God to provide us these
things, then it will be easy for us to do the good that
God so desires us to do each day. It will help us to
not be judgmental of others because of how they look
or appear or the color of their skin. Recognizing these
gifts, these treasures that God places before us and
then using them is like finding that “hidden” treasure
or pearl and doing all we can to preserve these good
things in the way that we live each and every day.
With the proper understanding of the teaching of Je-
sus, then we can make good decisions in our lives
and treat others with the respect and dignity that they
desire as children of God. Prayers for God’s graces
and blessings to be poured upon your heart and then
let them lead you to doing good in the eyes of God
and your neighbor!
Peace,
Fr. Fred
It is time to start planning for our annual German Din
ner, Quilt Auction, and Fall Rafle coming up this fall on

on our rafle ticket. Monetary donations can be made
out to Christ the King Church with “rafle” on the memo
line. Some donations may be joined with others to pur
chase a large prize, unless speciied otherwise. All do
nations are appreciated! The deadline to make a dona
tion so that it still appears on the rafle ticket is
