RELIGION IN ANCIENT MALI.! During the 18th century Mali was

mostly ruled by Muslim emperors and slowly turned into Islam being the dominant religion. Some communities prayed to the spirit of the land in order to increase the growth of crops. Mali’s religion plays a very important role in culture of the country. Now Islam is the dominant religion in Mali, 95% is Muslim. The rest follows Christianity and other religions.
