املؤسسات تنمية ندوة هبا خرجت التي للقرارات نتاجا األعامل ريادة جائزة ختصيص جاء الصغرية واملتوسطة التي أقيمت بسيح الشاخمات يف والية هبالء بمحافظة الداخلية يف الفرتة من 21 إىل 23 يناير 2013 بتوجيهات سامية من حرضة صاحب اجلاللة السلطان قابوس بن سعيد املعظم-حفظه اهلل ورعاه- والتي كانت هتدف إىل تعزيز الدور املهم الذي تقوم به هذه وتنفيذ إنشاء للشباب وتشجيعهم عىل واملتجددة املتعددة العمل توفري فرص املؤسسات يف مرشوعاهتم اخلاصة، والتفرغ إلدارهتا وتنميتها مما يمكنهم من املسامهة يف جهود التنمية التي

النهوض بريادة األعامل وتنمية املؤسسات الصغرية واملتوسطة لتصبح مسامها فاعال يف توطني الوظائف

وإجياد اقتصاد متنوع قائم عىل املعرفة واالبتكار.

بتعزيز االلتزام متثل األعامل ريادة جائزة هوية تنميتها، يف واإلسهام األعامل ريادة ثقافة وإثراء والنمو لألفضل للتغيري التطلع غرس إىل وهتدف إضافة إىل ترسيخ ثقافة الدعم من أجل خلق فرص وهي للمستقبل. الريادية الكفاءات وبناء العمل وتعهدها اجلائزة آلية ووضوح مصداقية تعكس تقديرها خالل من وطنيا وداعام حمفزا تكون بأن املعززة واملؤسسات األفراد ملبادرات وتشجيعها

الصغرى، والصغرية واملتوسطة ورفع قدرهتا التنافسية.

تعزيزاعتمدت اجلائزة يف نسختها الثالثة عىل التسجيل والتقييم اإللكرتوين بالكامل عرب املوقع والنظام اإللكرتونيني اجلديدين

وذلك لضامن احلصول عىل نتائج أكثر دقة.

حتسني عدلت فئات اجلائزة لتضم مخسة عرش جائزة مقسمة عىل ثالث فئات رئيسية هي جائزة الريادة، وجائزة ريادة األعامل اجلوائز دعام املالية جلميع اجلوائز قيمة لريادة األعامل. ورفعت الداعمني الصغرية واملتوسطة، وجائزة للمؤسسات

لرواد األعامل لتنمية مؤسساهتم وتكريام جلهودهم.

The JuryWinners are selected during the jury phase, which is implemented by experts and competent individuals from the Sultanate and the Arab world. In the first phase, the jury’s role is to study and assess participants’ applications based on the criteria approved by the Award and updates the grades and data in the system. In the second phase, the jury conducts interviews with candidates and inserts the grades and data into the system. It also assesses applications according to assessors’ reports. The results of the first and second phases are then discussed to determine the winners. The Jury prepares reports about the strengths and improvement chances for each participant.

The Entrepreneurship Award seeks to be a national catalyst and

supporter that honors and encourages entrepreneurial initiative

and institutions that support entrepreneurship.

enhancing the performance and competitiveness of SMEs.

ImprovementThe third edition of the Entrepreneurship Award is fully dependent on electronic registration and assessment. The new electronic system guarantees more accurate and efficient results.

ImprovementThe Award categories were amended to include fifteen awards divided into three main categories: The Entrepreneurship Award, The Entrepreneurship Award for SMEs and The Entrepreneurship Award for Supporting Organizations. The value of cash awards received by entrepreneurs has been raised to develop their institutions and to honor their efforts.

DevelopmentThis edition focuses on raising the assessors’ assessment skills through engaging them in two workshops provided by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), based on international criteria. This is a step towards building the capacity and skills of Omanis. This means that the Award benefits not only participants but others as well by instilling a culture of evolution and development.

The Entrepreneurship Award Benefits

Winners will be rewarded with a trophy representing the Entrepreneurship Award and an acknowledgment certificate, as a symbol of appreciation and recognition for their excellent performance in their respective fields. More significantly, the winners will be potentially regarded as national role models in their fields.

Winners of the Entrepreneurship Award and Entrepreneurship Award for SMEs will be awarded financial prizes.

Winners will be permitted to announce and promote their achievement in line with instructions from the Award’s management team.

Winners of Entrepreneurship Award and Entrepreneurship Award for SMEs are eligible to participate in the Winners Support Programme.

Once the results have been announced, participants will receive reports identifying their key strengths and areas of improvement as per the Award criteria in order to support their continuous improvement.

Furthermore, the identity reflects the Award’s credibility and commitment towards being a national supporter through recognition and encouragement of individual initiatives and institutions which support entrepreneurship.

The emergence of the Entrepreneurship Award was an upshot of the royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said at the conclusion of the Seih Al Shamikhat Symposium on SMEs in Bahla held from 21-23 January 2013. The Award aim at instilling a culture of entrepreneurship in the society and strengthening the role SMEs play in providing multiple and renewable employment opportunities for young people, encouraging them to create their own businesses, and become self employed to manage and develop their businesses, enabling them contribute to the development efforts in the Sultanate.
