DIRECTOR OF TEACHING AND LEARNING - Whole School Commencing 2016 Waverley Christian College is a Christian co-educational school seeking to offer students a quality Christian educational experience. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley will have an enrolment of 1900 students across both campuses in 2016. We require a full time, ongoing Director of Teaching and Learning. As the Director of Teaching and Learning, you will be responsible for developing and implementing whole school curriculum initiatives, working collaboratively with the Heads of School/Campus and the Heads of Teaching and Learning. You will work to ensure that the curriculum is Christ-centred and in harmony with the ethos and objectives of the College. Some of the duties you will be involved in will include: Being responsible for, and directly involved in, all curriculum development and documentation, provision, assessment, evaluation and review. Having awareness of all curriculum-related committees and participating actively as necessary. Being responsible for curriculum documentation, storage and dissemination via Curriculum Atlas, in conjunction with Heads of Teaching and Learning. Ensuring the implementation and review of College policies including Teaching and Learning, Curriculum Review and Development, and Assessment and Reporting. Being responsible for the execution of all assessment and reporting timelines and procedures. Coordinating Whole School Professional Development days in consultation with the Senior Management Team, Teaching and Learning Committee and staff. You will be committed to the College’s ethos and values of Christian education and will possess excellent skills in leadership and management.
