IMHA Quality for some time, participation in

"The regulations for the medical examination of

seafarers differ considerably between countries.

Some governments follow the guidelines

recommended by international authorities (ILO,

IMO), others have their own requirements.

A harmonization of these regulations between states

for the maritime sector has long been the objective

of the maritime medicine professionals and a great

effort was made to develop a new set of criteria that

will allow medical examiners to define the health of

seafarers expeditiously for the safety of ships and

their crews. 

Through the new Doctor 3D Clinic, we want to

participate in the efforts being made to adopt these

Directives, which would increase the quality of the

selection process and would offer the medical
