The Tashir group of companies where Alcotec Ltd belongs is a large multi-industry holding uniting over 200 businesses with total labor in excess of 30 000 involved in various types of production, including manufacture of construction materials.

Alcotec is the leader of Tashir Group which supplies aluminum composite panels used for ventilated facades to the markets inside Russia and in the near abroad.

Evening the surface of bearing wall

Aluminum composite panel allows for leveling surface and fixing surface defects up to 300mm by extending/shortening the length of the wall bracket

The cost of leveling with plaster is times higher and a more complicated process.

Long life Up to 50 years of maintenance-free operation, depending on materials used

The normal life of a wet façade is about 2-4 years. Low atmospheric resistance leads to fast decay of plaster.

Installation Quick installation during any season. Plasterers’ preferable season is summer. Autumn/winter is full of challenges and imminent overhead costs.

Maintenance Simple cleaning reduces running costs for maintenance. Dirt and dust tend to eat into the surface of a wet plaster façade, hence time-consuming and expensive cleaning.

Greenhouse effect Availability of air gap in a ventilated façade sandwich makes difference., because pressure difference forces humidity out into ambient air. Thus the greenhouse effect does not happen.

Occasional wrong choice of materials can produce a greenhouse effect which will lead to future decay of plaster and paint coating.

Cost Payback period for investments in ventilated facades is around 5-6 years. No significant costs of maintenance over 20 to 25 years.

The wet façade costs less than ventilated façade, yet its maintenance costs are much higher because of considerable cost of service and repairs each 5 to 6 years (cleaning, re-painting, fixing defects, etc.) Thus, wet façade operating cost is way higher.

Applications ACP can be used in construction of any type of building in any climatic zone.

In heavily industrial regions the poor environment has a strong effect on the wet façade which leads to deterioration of outside look of building. Plaster, though, can be preferred for building private houses in the countryside.

Aesthetic qualities Outside look (quality paint, gloss of metallic paint, versatile imitation shades, like Chameleon, imitating wood or natural stone). Possibility of details of sophisticated architectural shape and design.

Mostly plain, straight types of surface. Any elaborate detail will entail high added costs.
