“I’m based in the All Saints campus in Manchester, but I also work in Crewe. My role is student acing,
so I work on student orientation and on welcomingnew students, making sure they are settled inManchester, and helping with visa issues. It isessential or us to have international students at theUniversity so that we internationalise our education, and so that local students have a global education.Manchester Metropolitan University International’ssupport is important so that students don’t haveadditional barriers to their academic study; tomake sure they get all the support to achieve whilsthere, and to ensure they can make the most o their time in the UK. I would advise internationalstudents to do their research beore they arrive; themore inormation you have, the more comortable
you are going to eel. It may be dicult at timesbut remember, no question is a stupid question. We want you to come to us with your questions –whatever they are. We’re here to help, and you’llbe happier with the answers you need.”
