We help induce fluidity within our internal removal processes and author the development of a global, real-time, event-driven purchase-order tracking and assignment system. IPC Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) forecasts inbound, outbound and transfer inventory flows for Amazon.com network worldwide. We proactively help fulfillment centers organize labor resources efficiently around planning constraints. The vision is to continually generate daily network wide labor plans, to communicate such constraints to dependent teams and to accurately provide forecasts of labor flows without any human intervention via the use of high performance, fault-tolerant and scalable computing systems.

IPC Capacity Planning systems provide fulfillment solutions so that Amazon retail and Fulfilled-by-Amazon businesses can grow by minimizing fixed and variable costs while adhering to constraints on capital expenditure. Using sophisticated mathematical and economic models, we continuously plan towards maximizing capacity utilization, determining when and whether to expand the capacity footprint and provide upstream dependencies an accurate prediction of cost-related constraints.

External Fulfillment Platform Dropship, 3PL, Flexible Capacity
