The Association of Illinois Soil and Water Conservation Distrcits (AISWCD)invites you to join us for the 2019 Annual Meeting & Summer TrainingConference located at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield, Illinois. This year'sconference will be held July 14th - 16th, 2019. The Association of Illinois Soil and Water Conservation Districts (AISWCD), is agrass roots organization formed in 1948. It is made up of and serves Illinois’ 97member Soil and Water Conservation Districts, or SWCDs. Soil & WaterConservation Districts work to protect Illinois’s greatest assets – the rich, fertilesoils and water resources of the state through strategic conservation efforts.SWCDs, working in conjunction with agricultural as well as environmentalstakeholders, have for decades over played a central role in efforts to protect andsustain the viability of Illinois’ natural resources for future generations. Each year, member districts gather to conduct association business, attendtraining seminars, network, and socialize. Last year’s conference, held at theWyndham City Centre in downtown Springfield, had nearly 400 people attendrepresenting all spectrums of the agriculture industry – retail, commodity,research, agency, and farmers. The two-day conference can provide you with the opportunity to network withconservation professionals, landowners, partnering organizations, andgovernment agencies. It also provides a venue to discover new services,technologies, and programs! We are excited to offer cost effective promotional and advertising opportunities.
