We invite you to explore the west coast of Uruguay through its music and its landscapes. An audiovisual concert based on the interaction of instrumental "original" folk music mixed with live audiovisual work based on sound field recordings and visual landscapes captured along the Uruguay River and its surroundings. (Projections, sounds and music performed live). This concert aims to create a visual poem able to transport us along the coastline of the country, representing our point of view and listening, reflecting on how humans interact with the environment and technology, taking as leitmotif this finite source of life; called Uruguay River.

We are four artists born in Paysandú Uruguay with a wide national and international experience . This year we began to experiment with the fusion of two innovative contemporary, seemingly unrelated projects, but that contain as common sources of inspiration; music landscapes and the culture of the west coast of our country.
This proposal arises with the fusion of two projects called “Luminiscencia Litoraleña“ and “Tembey”:
Luminiscencia takes as its starting point the folk music of the west coast of Uruguay and its natural landscape. This project seeks an approach to this traditional art, combining sounds images and the tempo, performing new compositions and musical arrangements (based on folk music).
Tembe’y, from the Guarani, riverside, border, edge, margin field, river and mountain. An audiovisual concert based on field recordings of the Uruguay River, mixed with electronic generated music and visuals. This piece shows a journey that takes us from Bella Union to Punta Gorda, from the beginning of the river in Uruguay (Uruguay) to its transformation into Rio de la Plata.
Brief group review
We usually make presentations in conventional and unconventional spaces, small and medium [25 to 100], where there is proximity between the audience and the artist, and where the boundaries are not well defined. The scenic proposal is quite adaptable, we always take advantage of both positive and negative aspects of each location. Preferably the place must have some acoustic treatment to enhance the experience.
We attach a technical rider with two proposals, and technical requirements.
