You can also see them in conventions

In those conventions they compete for who has got the best outfit and they participate as teams or solo

They have their own magazines in Japan: Cosmode and Dengeki Layers

Emo

First appeared in the 80’s but became mainstream in the 00’s as many bands where were formed at that time

Started as a musical movement

The word comes from the term ‘emotional’

Are mostly in the ages between 13 and 20

Emo was the worse nightmare of the parents

Emo kids were often suicidal because they claimed they had a lot of trouble in their life and where being rejected

They would usually: Wear black clothes Tight jeans Do the make up like

eye liner even if their boys

Have big hair and long fringe that is hiding their face
