Te Tuhi was one of 10 commissioning partners around the world that contributed to Destroyed Word by erecting a giant 3m-high letter and filming its destruction. United as a multichannel video installation, the letters spell a word referencing the demise of the global economy. Special performance by The Echo Oh’s, plus Tectonic Industries presents “yeah yeah whatever”, in which a couple alternate singing epic love ballads while the other remains completely unmoved.
