This file is transmitted to ITD through a secure interface. It does not matter if driver has paid the citation or not. 40 If the citation is not paid on time, a driver will receive two suspensions: One based upon the conviction Second for failure to pay the citation (referred to as an infraction suspension). If the citation gets dismissed after a conviction has been entered, an order setting aside the conviction must be manually sent to ITD.
