1 Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education Co-op—Poster Presentation Guidelines All recreation and health education and kinesiology co-op students must create a poster for each work term (see the Poster Instructions PDF). Our poster sessions are held within the first week of classes of the term immediately following your co-op work term. At the poster session, you’ll display your poster and talk about your work term with visitors and other students. You’ll also have a chance to browse through other students’ displays. You’ll leave your poster with EPHE Co-op after your session, so don’t include photos that you need back. The EPHE co-op office has samples of past posters. Other examples can be found in the Poster Instructions PDF. A) WHAT SHOULD POSTERS LOOK LIKE? Your poster should show your fellow students what your work term was all about. It should: be mounted on a 22” by 28” poster board OR printed on a single sheet that is at least this large be professional (not handwritten) include visuals and written information about your work experience, program or research project It must include: a title – the organization you worked for your job – your major responsibilities during the work term what you learned – major achievements and learning you accomplished during your work term who you are – your name, program (BA, RHED or BSc, Kines) and year of study (e.g., third year) B) POSSIBLE THEMES TO CONSIDER partnerships or program successes innovations using technology or benefits-based planning creative partnerships or links with other human service providers initiatives that strengthen community services, interest in physical activity or our role in providing services challenges you overcame competencies you developed
