    Vigorously scratch the top o your dogs rear end. Most dogsnd this stimulating and will dance rom side to side with therear legs, shiting their weight and strengthening these muscles.

    2. Do the happy butt scratch dance.

    t your pet to lit his ront limbs rom the ground by using aysioball, going upstairs or even dancing. These exercises willengthen the hind limbs. Repeat this exercise with the rear legs

    strengthen the ront limbs.

    Make your dog athletically inclined.

    Lit one o your pets legs o the ground. I its the ront leg, bringthe leg orward. I its the rear leg, lit it backwards. Support the leglightly so your dog cannot use your grip to help support himsel.

    This exercise helps to improve weight bearing and strength.

    5. Stand on three legs.

    alking is an excellent, all-purpose warm-up prior to exercise,actice or competition. Start walking at a comortable pace,en move into a trot or 5-10 minutes.

    build endurance, we recommend 20 minutes or more ooderate intensity exercise such as trotting or swimming.

    Always give your dog a proper warm up.

    Encourage your pet to stand on hind legs and stretch his ront paupward. I this is too dicult, have your dog rest his ront paws oyou. Later, when your pet stands ater sleeping and stretchesbyully extending his ront eet and raising his rear endpraise andreward him. Both positions provide needed extension o the spin

    10. Stretch up, then take a bow.

    Great or core conditioning. Using a healthy treat or reward, lurethe dogs head up as ar as it will go and hold that position or aew seconds.

    Note: avoid this exercise i your dog has a history o backproblems or i your dog is currently overweight.

    9. Sit up and beg.

    A ) Start with your dog in the down/stay position, and hold a treator toy near the nose as a lure. In a clockwise, circular motion,move the lure to the side o one shoulder, luring the head.

    B ) Ater repeating and rewarding that motion, pull the lure upto the spine. When the dog begins to lose balance, praise him.

    C ) With practice, he will roll over onto hisback and complete the roll over.

    7. Do the roll over.

    Give your dog a High Five! The dog will reach up with onepaw. Repeat 2 to 3 times on each side.

    This movement exercises shoulders, ront legs and elbows.

    3. Try some paw power.
