Benefits of Scenario-based Learning
• Players will learn by making decisions and seeing the potential consequences of their own choices, rather than passively reading or hearing about the information.
• Path Finder showcases the use of applied learning strategies and is a great assessment tool that complements our existing games and activities.
• Makes on-the-job training immediately accessible for anyone via mobile device or web browser.
5
Engaging & Interactive for Users• Simple navigation and flow allows for learning in
smaller chunks, playing at user’s own pace. • Real-time feedback (KPI-driven) based on user’s own
choices• Can directly correlate how skills and knowledge will
be applied in real-life situations. • Scenario-based learning has been proven to help
employees transfer learning directly to their job.
6
Real-time Publishing• Allows you to easily prototype and review
your scenarios with a smaller test group. • Select which group(s) will have access to the
game and then click ‘Publish’.• Publishing takes seconds, and is immediately
available to players via both web and mobile.
7
Easy Creation• Add story and introduce characters through the use of ‘slides’:
– text (titles or descriptions)– media (images or video)– decision points within each ‘scene’
• Input questions with weighted answer options:– correct (100%)– partially correct (50%) – incorrect (0%).
• Create specific feedback for each answer • Link answers to ‘next’ scenes or endings, as defined in your script.

Tips for Creating a Script• Offer choices with consequences that your
learners can relate to. • Allow for mistakes to be made, and provide a
‘second chance’ for players to prove mastery.• Keep your content short, simple, and on-topic
to keep the user’s pace rapid and fun.
13
Creation Tips (Continued)• Start with a flowmap of ‘scenes’ to storyboard your
navigation paths, which can be linear or branching (or a mix of both).
• Include a ‘preferred path’ and sub-optimal or incorrect paths, along with ways to move from one path to another based on the user’s choices.
• Our flexible scene structure allows you to build anything from mini-scenarios to a full-blown ‘choose your own adventure’ story branches with multiple endings
