We are located at the heart of Clear Lake’s high-tech community adjacent to NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, USA.

The MIS department maintains expert faculties in areas of programming, database, networking, systems design, and web development.

Many of our faculty members maintain professional certifications from companies like Microsoft and Oracle.

We have recently moved to a new Student Services Building and we maintain three separate computer labs for programming, web & database development, and networking.

Database LaboratoryOffers hands-on practice to develop web sites, e-commerce sites, databases, and data warehouses.

Network LaboratoryProvides opportunities for students to put-together cables, routers, and switches to develop a network and administer a network.

The Undergraduate Program

UHCL offers only junior and senior-year (upper-level) courses towards completing a four-year bachelor degree in any program.

All undergraduate students coming to UHCL are required to complete a set of lower-level requirements (60 hours) at the junior-college level and a set of upper-level courses (60 hours) at UHCL.
