Now that you’re up to speed on just a few of the ways Honors can enhance your college experience outside of the classroom…
Let’s take a look at your four-year academic plan!
Freshman Year:
2 Honors Courses – choose from HON 151, 152, 251, 252 or Honors-designated sections of department courses
CIS/WRD 112 “Accelerated Composition and Communication” – satisfies Composition & Communication I & II
Sophomore/Junior Years:
2 Honors Courses – choose from HON 301, Honors-designated sections of department courses, a graduate course, or by converting a non-Honors course for Honors credit using the Honors Course Conversion process
6 credit hours of Honors Experiences – choose from Education Abroad, Research, or Experiential Learning
Senior Year:
Honors Senior Capstone – may be completed through coursework in the student’s major
Your To-Do List! For Fall 2014, every
Honors student must register for ONE of the following classes….
O HON 151O HON 152O HON 251 O HON 252O A departmental Honors
course (H-Section)
You must also register for ONE of the following writing requirements in Fall 2014 or Spring 2015….
