Entry of INR 500/- per participant. 5. Entry Fee should be paid through one Consolidated (Online/DD/Cheque only) in favour of “VIDYASHILP ACADEMY” before the commencement of the tournament. ENTRY WILL NOT BE ACEEPTED AFTER CLOSING DATE. PLEASE SEND THE ENTRY BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE. United Karnataka Chess Association (UKCA) Registration is compulsory for all the players. To do the Life time registration Parents/Player can visit www.karnatakachess.com. Life time registration fee is Rs.1000. The player who has not made Life time registration has to pay UKCA fee Rs. 50/- at the time of submitting the entry forms .The Player who is already Life time registered player of UKCA can submit the proof of registration(UKCA ID) at the time of giving entry.

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Number of Rounds (Swiss League) will depend upon the number of participants 2. Time control rapid system 3. Food will be provided ONLY to participants & officials at 1:30 pm. No other food

outlets within or around school campus 4. Accompanying parents to leave their children ( 7: 30 – 8 : 00 am ) and take them

back after the Prize distribution 4 : 00 pm from the gate 5. No refund / No carry forwarding of the Entry fee 6. No Certificates for participation. Certificates will be given to prize winners only. 7. Organizers have the right to reject any entry at any stage without assigning any

reason thereof 8. Buchholz Tie – Break system will be applied. In case of a tie, Prizes will not be

shared 9. Appeal committee of 5 members with 2 reserves amongst the official present at

players meeting shall be formed before the commencement of the tournament 10. Protest have to be lodged in writing within 30 minutes of the occurrence of the

incident along with a fee of Rs. 500 /- which shall be refunded only if the protest is upheld

11. The decision of the appeal committee/ Chief Arbiter will be final and binding on all the players

12. Parents are not allowed inside the campus due to security reasons. If found, their children will not be permitted to participate.

13. Chessmen, Chess Mat & Chess clocks will be provided. 14. School ID card is mandatory and players are requested to come in their school

uniform. 15. Organizers’ decision will be final and binding in all the respects 16. Schools having multiple branches should send entries separately 17. The tournament is open to student from 1st grade to 8th grade in 4 categories 18. Vidyashilp Academy will not be responsible for any injuries, untoward incident,

the security gate and borne it within the campus. It should be returned while leaving the campus.
