Dearest Alumni,I want to be the very best, like no one ever was.Keeping alumni happy is my real test,to train them is my cause!

Now that it’s safe to say autumn has arrived in all its rainy glory, it’s time to come together and share in the warmth and comfort of one of Delft’s fin-est venues! It’s time for the 12th Alumni Weekend of EYP the Netherlands. In line with tradition, the autumn weekend focuses on training, rather than just socializing, so this weekend will be your opportunity to venture in the worlds of being a chair or journo by following modules from highly expe-rienced alumni. Attending the training weekend is great way to prepare yourself to attend future events as an official. Speaking of future events, the preliminary rounds kick off less than a month after the weekend, so you might be able to put your newly acquired skills to use sooner than you think!

But, let’s not get ahead of myself. This wouldn’t be a proper EYP NL Alum-ni weekend without time to reunite, hang out and (theme)party as well, so expect all that and more!

Training weekendAs you may now, this alumni weekend is a training weekend, and it will focus mainly on chairing, but will include media and organising modules as well. You will have the opportunity to learn all the tips and tricks you need to become a great official. To make sure the weekend is productive for everyone, the participants will be split up into groups based on experi-ence in The first group will focus on introducing participants to chairing in EYP, whereas the second group will give the opportunity to more experi-enced alumni to further develop their skills. Taking into consideration that we will focus on more than just chairs training, the groups can differ per topic or position we will be focusing on.

Where & When

Just like last time, the alumni weekend will take place at the Kruithuis in Delft. We will have the whole accomodation to ourselves.

We would like to ask all participants to please arrive on Friday the 2nd between 16:00 and 17:00. Dinner will be served around 19:00Departures are scheduled for16:00h on Sunday the 4th.

Who’s that Pokemon?

This fall’s 12th alumni weekend of EYP The Netherlands is all about evolution. As you follow the trainings and get to know your fellow alumni that little bit better, you evolve into your next form. Howev-er, that is not all! In the evening, when the sun has set and the stars shine bright, you will reach your last evolution as we party it up at the Pokemon theme party!

SweatersThere is also the opportunity to purchase an EYP the Netherlands sweater.The sweater will cost 30 euros a piece and is available in the sizes XS-XXL. If you would like a sweater please make sure you indicate this in you sign-up form.The additional 30 euros can either be transferred together with your par-ticipation fee or can be paid in cash at the weekend.
