Sale Location: Diamond C Ranch15 minutes west from the Queen E 2 on highway 611 to Range Road 282 and ½ a mile south.

Viewing Of the Bulls. Viewing of the bulls will be most welcome at any time prior to the sale.

Diamond C reserves the right to collect 100 straws of semen on any sale bull, at the owner’s convenience and Diamond C’s expense.

Terms: The terms of this sale are cash or cheque in Canadian Funds at par immediately following the sale. The right of ownership shall not pass until after settlement is made. All Settlements must be made before any livestock will be released.

Absentee Bids: Mailed or telephone bids shall be handled in the most confi dential manner, if you are unable to attend the sale in person.

Insurance: Ownership risk to purchaser commences when the auctioneer’s hammer falls. Insurance is available at the sale.

Announcements: Any announcement made from the auction block take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.

Certifi cates: Certifi cates of registry and transfer on each bull shall be provided by the seller to the buyer without charge after settlement as been made. Please leave transfer instructions at the clerk’s desk.

Breeder’s Guarantee: The seller warrants clear title to and the right to sell each bull off ered for sale. All bulls off ered for sale are warranted to be sound, however; the seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign objects after the bull has been sold nor sickness that was not apparent at the time of sale.

Breeding Guarantee: We, the sellers, have done everything possible to assure you, the buyer, that every bull in this sale will be a breeder. However, should a problem arise, please inform the seller so the problem can be resolved. The purchaser shall have six months from the date the bull reaches fourteen months of age to report in writing to the seller that the buII is a non-breeder, providing of course, that the bull has been maintained in satisfactory breeding condition. Each consignor will have six months to prove the buII a breeder after the time of report. In the event a bull is a non breeder the situation will be

handled by either a replacement, creditor money back. In no case will an adjustment be made for more than the purchase price of that particular bull. No guarantee is given that semen collected from any bull in this sale wiII freeze or be suitable for artifi cial insemination.

Accidents: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither sales management, auctioneer, nor consignors assume any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability, legal, or otherwise, in the event or loss of property.

Delivery Options:

Option A: Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale, but no risk is assumed by the seller. Purchasers are requested to furrnish shipping instructions when making settlements.

Option B: Bulls will be kept at the seller’s farm at the purchaser’s risk and we strongly recommend that the bull be insured. Individual arrangements for delivery and feeding can be made by talking to Neil prior to or on sale day.

Rights and Obligations: The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of livestock following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected there to are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.

We are fortunate to have merged with Good Limousin and we leased their cows back in 2011. Many of you will know that their program has been around for a long time and they were part of the Cowman’s Kind bull sale for many years. They have been purchasing bulls from us so they are out of Diamond C genetics. You need to come take a look; they are very “good” bulls, no pun intended! It has been a pleasure to work with the Good family.

We are excited to be hosting our Twelfth Annual Bull Sale this March 11! Even more exciting for us and for you is that it is at our ranch; this fulfills a dream for us! We are grateful to God for the past sales and successes and cherish our friendships we have made along the way. We look to forward to seeing all of you again as well as meeting new people and customers.

The cattle industry is on the upswing and it was wonderful to connect with so many positive people this fall out on the show road. It is also rewarding to see our children getting more involved with everyday activities on the farm. We enjoyed watching them help at Farm Fair and Agribition and they even started to show cattle this year outside of 4-H. Ranching is in their blood. They can’t help it, though. Sherry and I have been around cattle our whole lives so it’s a natural fit. We did a little research on the family history and learned that Farming and Ranching goes back many generations – both here in Canada and also in Europe.

OK, let’s talk about the sale. As always we have done our best to bring you our best. We are very satisfied with where our program is at today. Diamond C Ranch has a solid deep set of bulls with a little of everything for everybody: performance bulls, heifer bulls, blacks and reds. All the bulls are on total health programs and are ready to go to work for you.

Well folks, yes, SUPERMAN has been around a while and there is a reason for that. As you all know it is hard to find that herd sire that makes all the cows better. SUPERMAN has done that for us. You don’t have to worry about what to mate to him. We just throw him out with 50 + cows and we know we will be impressed with the results, bull calf or heifer calf. We have not used him as much recently, so that we could offer different genetics to our customers. This may be one of the last years where there will be an abundance of sons to choose from. We think so highly of him that we have gone on to use his sons in our herd as well. If you don’t have a SUPERMAN son in your herd you need to take a close look at his offering and even if you do and you have a large herd, you might want another one. I know his sons will sire the calves our industry is looking for.

We had high hopes for this Bull right from the start. He is a combination of our best donor cows at that time. Edens Black Cierra who is the dam of Razzmatazz and ANLC Lucile. We campaigned him and showed him in 2009 where he had many friends. He has not seen as much duty until this year because he is only single polled. He saw clean up duty in 2010 and here are some of the results. We have been very impressed. Both of his sons in the sale are from strong dams and they are really strong bulls. We were so impressed that he saw a lot of duty this year. These are the first TROUBADOUR bulls to sell.

Diamond C WAYLON is a bull we were very high on right from birth. He is a Superman son out of Diamond C Sugar Sugar and she is out of Diamond C Perfect Gentlemen. Richmond Ranch talked us out of him and he went on to do great things at their ranch siring their walking bull SRD Sir Junior who had many high selling sons for their program. Before Perfect Gentlemen went to Richmond Ranch, he left us Sugar Sugar and the mating with Superman was superb. We sold him in 2010 at our sale to Good Limousin Ranch. They used him heavily and these bulls are his first set of calves. With the merger between Diamond C and Good Limousin Ranch, he has come home to work in our program.
