A note to my fellow parishioners… I retired officially June 30th from my position here at St. Joseph’s Church. I will miss interacting with you on a daily basis, but Jerry and I will continue to be members here; you have been our faith

family for 46 years, in all of the good times and bad! Thank you for all of your love , prayers and support! The person whom I worked with the longest is now retired, Marcy Kamaka; I thank her for always being my friend as she was to all of you! I especially thank Father Evaristo for his leadership, wisdom, guidance, humility and desire for all of us to be filled with the Holy Spirit here at St. Joseph’s Parish! God’s blessings always… Patty Sermersheim Patty, we wish you and Jerry all the best! Thank you for all your years of dedication, hard work, prayers and service. We look forward to continue seeing you as part of our parish community. God bless you. We welcome Karen Roesler, our new Parish Business Manager! Greetings! I look forward to serving St. Joseph Church and School community. I have worked and volunteered within the diocese for over 23 years. My husband and I are from Fort Wayne and both were blessed with a wonderful Catholic education at Sacred Heart, St. Henry and Bishop Luers. Both our parents served as volunteers for many years at Bishop Luers which in turn has shown us the importance of giving of oneself and using the talents God has given us. We have a wonderful son who is a doctor completing his residency and we are very happy to have a wonderful daughter in law joining our family soon. With a joyful heart, I look forward to getting to know the St. Joseph's community. Un recado para mis compañeros parroquianos… Yo me jubilé oficialmente el 30 de junio de mi puesto aquí en la Parroquia San José. Extrañaré el interactuar con ustedes a diario, pero Jerry y yo seguiremos siendo miembros aquí; ustedes han sido nuestra familia de fe durante 46 años, ¡en todos los momentos buenos y malos! ¡Gracias por todo su amor, oraciones y apoyo!

La persona con la que trabajé más tiempo ya se jubiló, Marcy Kamaka; le agradezco por ser siempre mi amiga, tal como lo fue para todos ustedes. ¡Le agradezco especialmente al Padre Evaristo por su liderazgo, sabiduría, guía, humildad y deseo de que todos aquí en la Parroquia San José seamos llenados del Espíritu Santo!
