The manicured grounds have perennial plantings and charming walkways. The property features stone walls, trails, woods and clearings, lots of wildlife, and miles of views. All the granite posts and slabs used around the property came from the original barn foundation. A conservation easement protects this property from future development and preserves its heritage for generations to come.

The attached 43x79’ two-story post-and-beam barn has a new foundation, new entry, its own water source, and will easily hold many vehicles and farm equipment. It has been re-shingled, and the lower level has steel beams held in place by pressure treated posts. The original ell connecting the living quarters with the barn is intact and has been preserved. Part of it is open and used as porch space to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. In addition, the owners feel that anything that came with the house should stay with the house – for instance, an old croquet set that has hung in the same spot in the barn for years. There are also photos of the house, books, and paintings that will stay and continue the history of the property.
