2. PRODUCTION SPLASHS 3. There is music in the background which gives off a kind of spooky impression, makes youthink there is nothing left, almost like its empty but also could mean something bad hashappened so its silent. Then over the top of this music you begin to hear what sounds like voice recordings of awomen screaming. It doesnt just sound like one voice though it sounds like there is a fewmixed in together which foreshadows events that take place further on. As you can hear the noises writing appears on the screen saying this film is based of atrue story Then there is a cry from someone calling the name Emily, their voice is filled with terrorwhich really makes the audience feel scared and you know something bad has happened. This is then followed by more of the voices that fade out. 4. As the voice fades out a picture begins to appear on the screen. Its of a barbed wired fence with blood dripping from it as if someone has cut themselveson it. As a drop of blood drips down the title of the movie appears in a blood red colour. And then when it drips again it disappears. This creates suspense because its the factyou dont know where the blood has come from or what comes next. 5. After that it cuts to corn fields with strong winds in the background which is all you canhear which again creates that empty effect on the audience. It also shows pumpkin fieldwhich doesnt look as though its been looked after for a while which could portray the factthe people there have other things to worry about which foreshadows future events. 6. After that we then see a longshot view of a house that looks almost alone because thereis nothing around it and the pathetic fallacy also creates the sense of desertion aswell. Also in the right hand corner we can see a man walking towards the house. 7. Then we see a close up view of the man walking up towards the house and an extremeclose-up of the mans foot stepping onto the frosty snow on the ground. The sound that ismade sounds like bones crunching. 8. As the man reaches the door he knocks and leaves it a while but no- one answers straightaway which again foreshadows that maybe the family in there are occupied on somethingelse. The man then knocks again to get there attention which creates suspense.
