1. At the beginning of the play, Scrooge is a miserable, lonely old man. The Ghost of Christmas Past shows us the events which have made him this way: his childhood at boarding school, his relationship with Belle, and his career at Fezziwig’s. Choose one of the events from Scrooge’s past and discuss how the choice he made affected the course of his life. What could he have done differently?
