The REal Show is Virginia’s largest statewide education and network-ing event for real estate professionals. REALTORS® attend to connect with the best in the business across the state, discover the latest in business trends and technology, and meet with key industry partners in the Expo Hall.

Attendee Snapshot: Convention attendees are active Virginia real estate professionals, including residential and commercial sales agents, brokers, top producers, new agents, sales award winners, and associa-tion executives. Attendees are from VAR’s 29 local associations, travel-ing from more than 124 cities and counties and representing nearly 300 brokerages across Virginia!

Expo Hall Format: The Expo is open for two full days, giving your com-pany ample opportunity to meet with Virginia REALTORS®! Traffic driv-ers include an Expo Hall Opening Reception on Friday, lunch in the Expo Hall on Friday and Saturday, prize drawings, and education sessions on the Alpha Expo Hall Stage. We also include two full conference registra-tions with your booth space, encouraging you to participate in the entire event and make the most of your time on-site.

CAnCEllATion oR doWnSiZinGUpon providing written notice, an Exhibitor may cancel

or downsize from the Exhibit subject to the following

conditions and restrictions:

A. If a written cancellation or downsize notification

is received at VAR or Network Media Partners, Inc on

or before october 21, 2011, 100% of the amount of

payment received will be refunded and space will be

canceled.

b. If a written cancellation or downsize notification is

received at Network Media Partners, Inc. on october 22,

2011 – may 11, 2012, exhibitor is liable 50% of the

total agreement and space will be canceled.

C. If a written cancellation or downsize notification is

received at Network Media Partners, Inc. after may 11,

2012, no refunds will be issued and exhibitor is

liable for 100% of the total agreement price. In the

event of cancellation or downsizing, VAR reserves the

right to use the cancelled/downsized space, including the

sale of space to another Exhibitor without any rebate or

allowances to the cancelled/downsized Exhibitor.

d. If the account is referred to a collection attorney for

any reason, exhibitor/agency agrees to pay 25% attorney

fees plus any costs associated with collections.

• Exhibits must be manned at all times during exhibit hours as outlined in this contract. Booths will tentatively be 10’ x 10’ (size may be subject to change based on Convention Center placement) and include the following: 8 ft. high pipe and flame resistant fabric backdrops; 3 ft. high pipe and flame resistant fabric siderails; one 6 foot draped table; 2 chairs; a 1-line booth identification sign showing name of exhibitor. • The exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of exhibitor’s activities on the Convention Center’s premises, covenants not to sue and agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Convention Center, and its parent corporation, as well as their respective trustees, directors, officers, agents, servants, and employees from any and all such losses, damages and claims.

• Only products manufactured or distributed by the exhibitor under contract for space may be displayed or used in the exhibit area.

• Exhibitors may not sublet or assign any portion of their booth(s) to others.

• Advertising or canvassing outside the exhibitors own space is not permitted.

• All displays and decorative material must be flameproof.

• Display materials may not be screwed or nailed to the floors or walls of the exhibit area.

• The Virginia Association of REALTORS® reserves the right to approve the character of any exhibit and to prohibit any display which is the cause of noise or other objectionable features that may distract from the general character of the show. This applies to displays, literature, advertising, novelties, souvenirs, conduct of persons, etc.

• Exhibitors shall assume all responsibility for any loss, damage or claims arriving out of injury or damage to exhibitors’ displays, equipment, and other property brought upon the hotel premises and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Virginia Association of REALTORS®, the Convention Center, agents, servants, and employees from any and all liability which may ensue, from whatever cause, loss, damage or claim.

• Early breakdown is strictly prohibited. Exhibitors breaking down their spaces prior to the printed time will be assessed a $500 fine

Electronic File Requirements• A printed proof must accompany all

submitted artwork. • Do NOT include printer’s marks (crop marks,

registration marks, etc) in the file submission. If you are concerned that we will not know where your ad should be cropped, include crop marks on the printed proof and we will ensure that your ad is placed properly.

• Do NOT include a bleed with fractional ads (anything smaller than a full page).

• Please supply only PDF print-ready files (see requirements below). We do NOT accept film or any native application file formats (please, NO Quark, MS Word, InDesign, PageMaker, etc).

• PDF file requirements: Must be hi-res, print-ready PDF. All images must be 300 dpi or better. All fonts must be embedded.
