I. ABS Description

ABS provides the best balance of properties when cost is a factor. It has an excellent combination of toughness and Rigidity.

Acrylonitrile provides a good chemical corrosion resistance and surface hardness. And Butadiene provides a good toughness and

impact resistance. And Styrene provides a good rigidity and mobility, and ease of printing and dyeing. ABS can be used in

temperatures ranging from -50℃ to +70℃.

II. ABS Characteristics:

Advantages:

♦ Good mechanical strength, high impact strength even in the cooling

♦ Resists scratching, Excellent abrasion resistance and creep resistance

♦ Good electrical properties

♦ High dimensional stability, high surface strength and good luster

♦ Good chemical resistance to inorganic salt , alkalis and many acids(strong oxidizing acids is an exception).

Disadvantages:

♦ Endurance in water and in corrosion of inorganic salt except organic solvent(easily to cracked) .

I. HDPE Description HDPE is used in a variety of applications and industries where excellent impact resistance, high tensile strength, low moisture

absorption and chemical and corrosion resistance properties are required. And PE has good insulation properties and is easy to

I. Description

High Impact Polystyrene has a high dielectric strength and is widely used for laminated electronic circuits, high frequency insulation

sheeting, insulators, and other electrical applications. HIPS own high impact strength, high rigidity and easy processing, and

high-gloss at the surface, easy to be paint . It is resistant to a wide variety of chemicals: alkali, salts, lower alcohols, and many acids.

It’s working temperature is from 0℃ to +70℃

I. PP Description

PP looks like PE, but PP is more transparent, lighter. PP is flammable. PP own low water absorption, low gas permeability. PP has

good mechanical properties, the tensile strength and yielding strength are better than PE, PS and ABS. PP resists stress cracking

and easy to weld, but low notched impact strength, the finished parts shall avoid sharp corners and notches. The temperature

ranges between +5℃ and 100℃.

I. PU Description

Polyurethane is a unique material that offers the elasticity of rubber combined with the toughness and durability of metal. Because

urethane is available in a very broad hardness range, it can replace rubber, plastic or metal. Polyurethane has better abrasion and

tearing resistance than rubbers, while offering higher load bearing capacity. When compared to plastics, Polyurethane offers

superior impact resistance, while offering excellent wear properties and elastic memory. Polyurethane have replaced metals in

sleeve bearings, wear plates, sprockets, rollers and various other parts, with benefits such as weight reduction, noise abatement

and improved wear resistance. It’s working temperature is -40℃~+80℃.

I. PA Description

PA is recognized as the most widely used and known engineering plastic in the current market.

PA6 has the best performance, very tough, even at low temperatures, and high surface hardness, mechanical lower shock,

and abrasion resistance. Combined with these characteristics and good insulation, and chemical properties, it has become

common-level materials. It’s widely used in a variety of mechanical structures and spare parts. Compared to PA6, PA66

own the higher hardness, rigidity, better resistance to wear and heat deflection temperature. Temperature resistance from

-40℃ to 110 ℃.

MC Nylon + oil filled

A special formulation of Liquid Lubricant encapsulated during manufacture, provides for true lubrication at the bearing surface. Oil-Filled Nylon is offered for applications where maintenance lubrication is difficult or impossible. As well, nylon specially formulated OIL, limits moisture adsorption, making Oil-Filled Nylon an ideal bearing material for submerged or critical tolerance applications.

Ⅰ. PBT Description

PBT is a strong, stiff engineering plastic with excellent machining characteristics, chemical resistance, and wear properties of

bearings. PBT is often used for food processing machinery applications when low moisture absorption, resistance to staining, or

resistance to cleaning chemicals is required. It is easier to machine than PET, and also has a higher continuous working

temperature (116℃).

Ⅰ.PC Description

Polycarbonate is a transparent thermoplastic material with good strength and stiffness and outstanding impact resistance. It

provides the best mechanical property and electrical insulation, high dimensional stability and excellent creep resistance.

Polycarbonate's toughness and optical clarity make it ideal for a wide variety of applications. And it can be used in temperatures

ranging from -130℃ to +130℃.

I.PET Description

PET is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester based on polyethylene terephthalate . PET is characterized by

having the best dimensional stability couple with excellent wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, high strength, and resistance

to moderately acidic solutions. PET properties make it especially suitable for the manufacture of precision mechanical parts which

are capable of sustaining high loads and enduring wear conditions. Its continuous service temperature is 210°F (100°C) and its

melting point is almost 105°F higher than acetal.

In addition, PET offers good chemical and abrasion resistance. Its low moisture absorption enables mechanical and electrical

properties to remain virtually unaffected by moisture.

I. POM Description

Good mechanical properties and rigidity, and close to the metal material. It’s an ideal replacement material of copper, cast zinc,

steel, aluminum and other metal materials. Excellent fatigue resistance and creep resistance. Good abrasion resistance,

self-lubricated and friction. High thermal stability, good chemical stability and excellent electrical insulation. And it can be used in

temperatures ranging from -50℃ to +110℃.

II. POM Characteristics

Advantages:

♦ High surface hardness, low abrasion consumption, impact fatigue and shock resistance, low coefficient friction, and

self-lubricating, therefore, it is the first material choice for manufacturing gear.

♦ High mechanical strength and rigidity. Although the contraction rate is high, the dimension is stable.

PAI (polyamide-imide) is an extremely strong and stiff plastic material. It is often used in elevated temperature environments where
