The Schrder Owlet range of control systems includesmotion detection sensors that can operate on eitherindividual lighting points or on a complete network.

Each luminaire level can be congured individually withseveral parameters such as minimum and maximum lightoutput, delay times from minimum to maximum andduration of ON/OFF times.

1. EfciencyThe wireless network is based on the open source ZigBeeprotocol. It communicates 50 times faster than a power-line network by using 16 communications channels, eachwith maximum bandwidth.

LED Conversion ProgrammeSan Jos launched an innovative lighting plan to replaceits yellow sodium ttings with LED luminaires. Thisprogressive conversion started in 2011 with the goal ofchanging 62,000 luminaires by 2022. To be even moreefcient, the local authorities were keen to combine thenew lighting scheme with an adaptive control system.They were impressed by Owlets solutions and choseSchrder to help maximise energy savings.
