2016 Media II, III, IV Journalism Senior Final Portfolio With graduation just a few short weeks away, it’s time to use your journalism skills to reflect on the last year or several years that you spent in this course. You will produce a digital/print reflection of your time spent in at PTHS. The goals of this assignment are listed below: 1. Reflect on your time as a PTHS student and member of the Media Department. 2. Critically analyze your work in this class. 3. Thank individuals who helped you to grow and develop as a person. 4. Set goals for your future. 5. Help to improve the course Instructions You will create a digital portfolio that contains all elements of this project. You may use InDesign CS5, Photoshop or another software to design your project. It will contain the following: Digital Portfolio 1. Introduction/Cover Page (Digital) a. Your portfolio must your name, class period, title and a picture. b. The title must summarize what you learned from taking this class. 2. Examples of Work (Digital) a. a. You are to write one thank you letter to the individual(s) who influenced your life in high school the most. It can be a parent, sibling, friend, teacher, coach, mentor, youth minister, etc.

b. These letters are deeply personal. I WILL NOT read them. c. The letters are to be turned in addressed and sealed with postage. I will mail them in

August.4. Future Goals (Print)

a. On a separate sheet of paper, you are to set 10 goals for your future. (I will mail them to your family member so that they can keep them for you.) Dream Big!!!

5. Letter to Mrs. Sitler (Print)a. Write Mrs. Sitler a letter discussing answers to the following questions:

1. What was the most important lesson that you learned during your time at PTHS?2. What has taking a media class taught you?
