Headquarter Platoon is the heart

and soul of the 212th Engineer Com-

center and life support of the company

with the task of ensuring missions are completed, soldiers are taken care of,

and coronation between platoons,

higher headquarters, other units within

the Battalion, and outside actives. To do this the headquarters pla-

toon is broke down into four sections: Command and Control, this

Greetings and a warm welcome

from the 212th Maintenance Misfits.

Our time here in Kuwait has

brought our team of 7 on many

different missions within the battal-

ion and now we are drawing closer

to the end and we are on our next

to last mission to be completed. As the Misfits entered Kuwait

we received the equipment from

the 882nd engineers which was at

100 percent fully mission capable

and to this day the team has kept

the equipment above a 98 percent

rating. We have carried out many

helping them with services,

dead lined equipment, and parts

replacement. After a little time working

with our sister Engineer Com-

pany the Misfits was handed

down another mission to help

out with the turn in of 28 un-

serviceable civilian vehicles.

These vehicles ranged from

pickup trucks and Cushman

trucks to SUV’s. Here within

the last month we have re-

ceived another company’s

equipment bringing it up to

standard getting it ready for the

new vertical company coming

in.

Our office personnel have

taken on the project of com-

pleting a new driver’s packet for

each individual within the com-

pany making sure all 150 pack-

ets paperwork has been filled

out correctly and each packet is

completely the same. During our time on this de-

ployment we have had the

honor of having two of our very

own promoted, so a special

congratulation goes out to SPC.

Sean Nall to the rank of Ser-

geant and SGT Christopher

Kelley to the rank of Staff Ser-

geant.

Within the last few weeks

we have started washing and

cleaning all equipment getting

ready for shipment back to

home station in Paris, TN. The

demobilization process has

taken many hours and days and

the team has picked up the mis-

sion with high spirits making

sure all cleaned, serviced and

ready to go for shipment back

to home station. So that being

said the equipment is on its way

out of here and the team is

ready to roll out and get back

home. So get ready Tennessee

the 212th’s Maintenance Misfits
