Grateful On Monday morning I was greeted by a number of students eager to share the results of weekend sporting activities. It reminded me of pre-COVID times and how great it is we are back into so many sporting activities and hobbies that others around the world are still unable to participate in. Let’s not take this for granted and make sure we are being as safe as possible. Reminders School Starts at 9.00am. Please do your best to have our child in the school grounds from 8.45am when supervision begins. The music will play for about 2 minutes (from about 8.58am) before the bell and your child should be making their way to class. Late passes can be obtained from the office, but let’s make an effort to be on time! Mother’s Day Stall Our Mother’s Day stall will be held on Friday 7th May. The P&F have been working hard in preparation for this over the last few weeks. We thank them for all their hard work. Mother’s Day Raffle The Mother’s Day Raffle will be drawn on Friday7th May. Please make sure ALL tickets sold or unsold are returned by Wednesday 5th May. I would like to send a special thank you to all members of our school community who have support-ed this fundraising event. I would like to wish a “Happy Mother’s Day” to all our mums, grandmothers and female caregivers without our school community and hope you have a special and wonderful day on Sunday 9th May. Take care, Have a great week. Karen Luff Principal

Our very own Alex M represented Karingal Primary School in the State Swimming Championships Monday 26th April. Alex competed in the U9/10 Multiclass 50metre freestyle and backstroke events. He proudly won silver in both of his events. The event was livestreamed so that Alex’s classmates were able to cheer him on from school. On return to school Alex was greeted by claps, handshakes and cheers from his classmates. He did himself and our school proud.

Our School Stream

app is now available

to download! The app allows us to deliver information and notices directly to your phone. We encourage all families to install the new app and stay in touch with the latest news and information regarding your child’s education. When you install the School Stream App, you will need to enter an email address to verify that you are a parent/guardian at KPS. This is an email address you have previously provided to the school. You will then need to wait a short time to get the app unlocked. You will be notified when the app is unlocked and ready to use. You will also be able to remove the classes that are not relevant to you by swiping left on the grade’s that you don’t need and remove them so that you don’t receive notifications for other grade’s.
